The rise of online vibrant events in early Covid offered a lot of hope for disabled/chronically ill people who have access issues attending IRL events (including going into a flare later). Anti-Zoom reactive sentiment pushed a lot of people into being more isolated again.

both things can be true AND the "class not culture" crowd is often people for whom the culture part isn't personally costly. easy to call it a distraction when you're not the one being distracted from existing.
I've never in my life seen a culture war issue that wasn't a class war issue. The working class isn't white cishet abled dudes.
The problem with "culture war is a distraction from class war" is that "culture war" isn't an abstraction and the people harmed by institutional bigotry are every bit as real as the people harmed by wealth and income hoarding.
In fact, they're often the same people.

True Minneapolis Housing Fraud story: got interviewed by FBI about Global Health Link Inc. who basically took my rent and never reinvested into their properties. They completely closed last September so now my Google review about them is moot. Current place is also not fixing their property.
