How about the 8th and 9th overs...?
How about the 8th and 9th overs...?
@threebeansaladpod.bsky.social A whole collection for you here, if someone slaps them on some pizza boxes
Apropos of nothing in particular
About once a year, unfortunately, I'm reminded of the Day Today
Ok, hear me out. A Lord of the Rings re-make, but with these two taking the One Ring to Mordor:

I was trying to think. I've definitely bought them in Uniqlo out there. A quick check of photos from well attended festivals show a few exposed legs in the height of summer (see the photo, if the resolution is good enough)
Taimatsu festival, Sukugawa Shi
Soma nomaoi festival, Minamisoma who, Fukushima ken
Kanto Matsuri, Akita shi
Nebuta festival, Aomori shi
Find out what local festivals are happening nearby. They can be spectacular. There are some huge fireworks displays in summer, too. Otherwise Kyoto, Hiroshima and Miyajima are probably my favourites on the typical tourist route. ใใฎใใใง๏ผ
I regularly wear shorts in Japan. Never had a problem
I just rewatched it. A few too many Elon Musk hand gestures for comfort...
Large, I suspect, if they returned to Cameron era values. The home counties loved that. But that is probably impossible, at least for a few years, and won't win over the faragist wing.

After a few adjustments to the inputs...
Yep. Piling into Penn is the better option. Thanks for the link. Interesting experiment and I'd be interested in the no 1 strategy
Agreed. I gave up on the one when they went abroad (Amsterdam?) on the transfer wise dollar. Excruciating. The Lee Miller one was interesting, though
This list includes many I was recommended to read before my BA - before Lord Bingham's Rule of Law, which mysteriously is not in the list - or I have read since. I can't now recall Tony Honore's book, but I recognise its cover.

Hi Lewis! Great to see you here
I have a vague recollection that the postgraduate bachelors are in some way formally senior to the freebie MA. Something to with higher faculties or the like. It is so long since I was told about the history of Oxford degrees that I'm not sure. It won't keep me up at night worrying
Doesn't the BCL trump the MA anyway?!
Really? 'Those who elected them' are the voters, not Joe Biden. It doesn't mean the original recipient of the votes can nominate another person. Not that I think there will be a contest, but I don't think the rules insist that delegates vote for Harris
I inserted asterisks into the start of the code and it finally got through
I've gone retro and get the physical FT (which also gives access to the dally epaper). ยฃ70 a quarter, which I think is great value. They threatened to increase it, but maintained that price when I phoned to end my subscription
