Nothing quite like seeing a "like" notification for a skeet you made to let you know your post spelling and grammar is absolutely atrocious, to the point you start to wonder if your brain might be beginning to unwrinkle.

When I first played Like a Dragon, I was working 3 jobs, and it was common to have a Monster energy drink on hand to let me stay up and hang out with Ichigo and his pals.

Now when I drink a Monster, I got sent to those memories instantly.

Maybe I'm just an old bitch finally hitting thay boomer mindset, but my imaginary kingdom for more creators lifting up the things they love and passionately talking about why it excites them. Not a bunch of hot takes, not "which character fucks amd why you are wrong?" tiers lists..

Obviously, we should be critical of our interests in hobbies to ensure they aren't being harmful or intentionally showcasing values and messages that can seriously damage communities and ways of life.

But there's strength and patience in simply enjoying what brings us just that: joy.

We live in a time where someone could say, "I sure do love watching the sunset," and dozens of people would chime in with "THE DARK SUCKS. NIGHT SUCKS. I STUBBED MY TOE IN THE DARK ONCE. NO NATURAL LIGHT?! WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?"

So.. Yeah. Enjoying things in my very small corner these days.

I'm a bit biased with my experiences in the OP community, and being part of a few websites back in the day when it came to things like EB, and I regret how hard it has hit me and keeps me from openly talking about passions without some fear of harassment.

I rarely engage with other Trek fans, and it has been a long while since really doing any sort of gabbin' about it for much of the same reason I backed off of Zelda, One Piece, insert fandom here discussions: people only want to complain and never lift up the positives these things gave us.

Not everything needs to be picked apart or scrutinized to death for the sake of a video essay or for 3 wonder bread lookin' guys to gab about for engagement.

People seemingly can't just enjoy something and need to have opinions on it, when most opinions are actually shit anyways.

There's precious few moments of joy in the world today. Why would I waste those moments on people using ire disguised as critique to air their superiority or flex their positions and knowledge?

I'm kinda' over most reviews, the cynicism and the parroting.

Gonna enjoy this on my own.
