The Cardinals helped JJ Wetherholt grow into a Top 5 overall prospect and got breakouts from Rainiel Rodriguez and Joshua Baez in '25. After adding more talent this offseason, the development work adds another chapter in the organization's rebuild.

Reasonable enough. I know there were a number of people that thought that the last lockout wound up being a win for the owners, though I don't know if it was disqualifying or not.
