Blue Labour makes red seats turn Green.
The sooner the Blue Labour cranks and authoritarians are driven out of the Labour Party the better.
Iβm glad some Labour MPs are finally speaking out against Blue Labourβs divisiveness!

Mayor Mamdani and a child play with Legos while looking very serious and concentrated. The child is impossibly adorable and wearing tiny blue glasses.
No interruptions, please. Weβre building universal child care.

Ben Stiller is calling out the White House after it used a clip from Tropic Thunder in a video promoting the Iran war.
βWe never gave you permission and have no interest in being part of your propaganda machine. War is not a movie,β Stiller wrote.
Ensuring #FoodSecurity - surely a crucial government responsibility on which Westminster has been failing for decades

America is being led by a bunch of shock jock meme warrior morons!
To them the deaths of Iranians is just one big game. It is disgusting how they use popular culture to inform their war propaganda.
Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say βSend meβ wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.

RIP to Jesse Jackson. His funeral is today. I wanted to share this clip from his appearance on Sesame Street in 1971. His important words ring just as true today as they did back then.

No, labour voters and the majority of their recent losses disagree with these policies and don't like the rhetoric either.
βSo the clashes between Keir and Kemi at PMQs felt almost existential. A battle between sanity and the distorted reality of an angry teenager. Thankfully sanity won out.β

The Greens couldnβt wish for a better advert!
How has Labour managed to get itself caught in a similar cultural pincer move between the Greens and Reform, as the Tories have done between the Lib Dems and Reform?

A cartoon from the 1950βs thatβs more relevant than ever π
Ed Davey sounds like a more responsible Leader of the Opposition than Kemi Badenoch does.
Badenoch has proven herself to be utterly unfit to be Prime Minister after todayβs dreadful performance at #PMQs.
Iβm not sure that βWarfare Not Welfareβ is the vote winning slogan the Tories think it is.
So it is now Tory policy to slash welfare for the poorest and most vulnerable at home, so that they can bomb people in Iran.
Poverty at home. Devastation abroad.
The Tories are shameless bastards! #PMQs
Badenoch is basically positioning herself as a pawn of the Trump Regime.
The Tories are trying to escalate things further. Absolutely disgraceful! #PMQs

GB News loses Β£22m, taking their total losses to over Β£130m. Except it's not a 'loss', it's an investment by Paul Marshall in providing a propaganda service to platform right wing grifters, gobshites, conspiracy nutters and contrarian fuckwits.

Why are the Tories, the Daily Mail and the Sun trying to drag the UK into Trumpβs war with Iran?
Nothing unites the right quite like war and foreign policy adventurism.
I assume they will explain to the families of fallen British servicemen & women why their sacrifice in Trumpβs war was necessary.
With YouGov now polling Greens above Labour for the first time, just re-upping this from last year on what was then only a potential crossover (tl/dr donβt get carried away but itβs a rubicon moment nonetheless) (www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...
"We called London a war zone and moved to Dubai by mistake"
The Greens are surging. I reckon they may come first in the polls soon.
The rise of the populist right often leads to a counter rise from the populist left. Think of MΓ©lenchon in France or to some extent Die Linke in Germany.
Expect Labour and the right to sling all the mud they can at the Greens.
Hear, hear! Ed Davey is absolutely right! πΆ
I'm really not sure this line works as well as Farage thinks it does.
It sounds petty and vindictive, which is the mark of a bad loser, and the British public still cares about fair play.
He needs to sound like a credible contender for PM, not someone carping from the sidelines.
Abysmal, immoral, cruel, small hearted, tiny minded, ineffective, undemocratic, and just generally utterly indecent. What a bitter godforesaken disappointment these people are.
