I don't know how to explain this but Casablanca is a movie for adults.
There are lots of movies built on an element of fantasy about being young or brave or defying the odds.
Casablanca is not that. Everyone in that movie has back pain and they have all just accepted it.
Probably not ideal that the Switch 2 is coming up on its first birthday and Nintendo has yet to announce an exciting 1st-party game, but hey, there's a new Mario movie coming up from our worst major animation studio.

I'm teaching about early 20th century eugenics today and was reminded that 9 years ago Republican Representative Steve King was stripped of his committee assignments by his GOP colleagues for this post that simply states what is now bog standard GOP policy/rhetoric on immigration and "civilization."

Exactly this. Consider these movies and then ask which of the other four major studios would have made them. Maaaaaybe Universal? But certainly not Disney, and based on their last few years, probably not Sony or Paramount.
