The whole point is that AWS, GCP, and Azure are all highly distributed, and if some foreign adversary has the capabilities to successfully destroy hundreds of data centers, a small business website doesn’t matter anyhow. Everyone is probably totally fucked/dead at that point

But is an unpatched hypervisor going to do better against the Mossad than the big cloud providers? I’d wager that this is far more secure than your average on premise data center’s hypervisor:

How is cloud worse than on premise data centers, which are typically operated at much lower security standards?

Yeah but all of the major cloud providers have third party audited controls against insider threats and cell based architecture, which limits the blast radius of human access to systems and data

Google 127

All dispersed around the world

I hate to rain on a hater’s parade, but wouldn’t companies want to switch to the cloud for WW3? The AWS data center drone strike is compelling evidence that you shouldn’t have your data all in one place. A problem the cloud solves with multiple availability zones and geographic regions …

I spent my childhood inside of American concentration camps. I know one when I see one. And that is what ICE is building.

They raided the jailed children to steal their letters.

The problem, in federal officials' minds, wasn't confining children in prison-camp conditions; it was that the children could tell the public about it.

Is anybody ever gonna take a step back and realize the "Russia Russia Russia" people β€” derided as lunatic wine moms β€” were actually underplaying the foreign influence stuff, and the loud people who kept insisting it was all fake are now saying Jeffrey Epstein was kind of a cool guy?

Aside from what Roberts says, which is true, this β€œreckoning” talk loses the plot.

Among Dem voters, any reckoning won’t be over Biden’s health, but over his style of governing β€” which focused on policy and economics over MAGA’s subversion of the rule of law. His presidency’s mortal flaw was there.

The only way any democrat in the Epstein files could have even slightly redeemed themself is by speaking up before 2020. Now they will go down in history not only as pro-pedophile, but also as pathetic cowards.

Every crime this administration commits is on them too. I’m so angry.
