How to Safely Ride a Bike in a Skirt or Dress When bare leg season finally rolls around, we only want to wear dresses and skirts. And while there’s no greater thrill than picking out a cute outfit that feels very spring appropriate, there’s no gr...

There’s also the penny trick, but it’s only going to be okay with crinkly, stretchy, or other fabrics that don’t mind. Nice summary and link to video at bluejaybikes.com/blogs/news/h...

Wait I thought that would be a good thing. Or is it because if no attribution? I am going around where my RT here might have influenced friends to post and trying to add your name for credit.

Good! In a bit of a rush one time, I borrowed one of these titles without really scrutinizing it before taking it out. Started browsing its pages and it was immediately clear it had to be AI crap. Returned it feeling like I needed to go take a shower. Thanks, @404media.co, for your investigation.

Opinion | As a Climate Scientist, I Knew It Was Time to Leave Los Angeles (Gift Article) After the Bobcat Fire, L.A. no longer felt safe.

www.nytimes.com/2025/01/10/o... Devasting to witness the climate breakdown so clearly in our lifetime. Can this be any sort of wakeup call? Great column from the passionate, compassionate scientist, Peter Kalmus, @climatehuman.bsky.social

An earlier version said something like “Vehicle intentionally…” I somehow thought major news outlets were getting better at this. And yes to the trolls, I do think this is a horrific tragedy, and at the same time know that assigning agency to the vehicle not the driver minimizes the driver’s role.

Waltham has so much to learn from its neighbor. There are so many good pull-outs here I don’t even know where to begin.
