Oh! I see communicating with the dead and cozy on your list. My story is under the Horror umbrella. Ghost story/paranormal with a light romantic subplot. Anything you stay away from in this genre?

Working on a synopsis for my WIP. I am thinking my genre is paranormal/ghost story with a light romantic subplot. Or I might be able to say cozy mystery subplot. Why is categorizing so difficult?

BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

Loved it! I especially liked how I thought something grotesque was about to appear, but since my imagination took that on it creeped me out more. Does that make sense? Anyway, well done!
