I hate to say this because I loved Derry Girls but I think they had to overact in this because the story and scripts were just not quite right...

When audiobooks are good they are grrrreat (but I agree with others, if the narrator isn't working for me I give up on the listen, the voice has to aid not obstruct). I started with audiobooks in lockdown and now prefer them on the whole. I use @libro.fm (and @libbyapp.com free with library account)
