Senior Thing Doer for Warhammer Licensing. I'm here for memes and minis. Views are my own, though you're welcome to share them. Taller than Henry Cavill. Pronouns of a polite butler clearing his throat (he/him).

I picked up Sergeant Jovan at the Warhammer World Anniversary yesterday, and immediately seconded him to the Deathwatch. As far as kitbashes go it was extremely minimal (literally just the one shoulder pad) but he just looks so Deathwatch-y already I didn't need to do anything else.
A tall, bearded gentleman (me) standing up straight next to a very short doorway which reaches just about shoulder height, with a sign reading "Mind your head" on the topmost lintel.
Mind your head, neck, and possibly shoulders too.
Staying in a 17th century cottage in the Lake District, which might as well be a hobbit hole considering how low some of these doorways are.
How I imagine the design meeting for this car park went.
"I need to know how wide a typical car is."
"So you can add on a suitable margin to allow people to get out of their cars?"
"Lol. Lmao, even."
Imagine how tall it would be if they'd depicted him standing up ๐ค
Okay, this is quite outstanding from Bedford Council.
Five Reivers painted in a gold, red and black colour scheme, but with some grey components where I've replaced bits with the intention of spraying them black and starting again.
Potentially controversial question - what are your thoughts on repurposing previously "completed" minis? I had these five Reivers from a custom chapter I never fleshed out, so I'm seconding them to the Deathwatch. But I realise some hobbyists might consider this sacrilege.
An Ironbreaker Dwarf smoking a pipe and holding a bloodied axe.
Sifting through my display cabinet and came across one of my earliest attempts at properly reposing a miniature - Ironbreaker at rest.
A "near miss" is actually a "near hit". It's didn't nearly miss, it nearly ๐ฅ๐ช๐ฅ๐ฏ'๐ต miss.
This is a genius idea and I will be stealing it.
So it's not just me that have noticed that chippies are somehow inversely affected by shrinkflation? Cost of a chip portion remains seemingly stable, but the portion size has grown exponentially to the point where the smallest option could feed a family of four.
What qualification do you need to become a Servitor?
BTEC
(Say it out loud if you don't get it.)
(If you still don't get it then you just need to acquaint yourself with British vocational qualifications.)
I second this. Great book, as is the sequel.
I can also recommend This Way Up by always informative and entertaining Map Men if you've even the slightest interest in geography.
"I'm gonna need two flamers for this purging!"
I should be sorting my bits boxes right now. Instead I'm using stuff from my bits boxes.

Imperial Council of War, featuring representatives from various armed forces of the Imperium in a bunker, gathered around a hololithic globe.
A Vindicare Assassin within a ruined statue over a battlefield.
A Necron Overlord translocating within a tesseract cube, with thanks to my colleague Rich for the green spray on the panels.

Dioramas on display in a glass cabinet in Warhammer World
โ๏ธMy minis displayed in a Warhammer Store
That's a bucket item list ticked off. See below for closer images of the minis (dioramas) in question. All three of these were projects centred around creating dioramas within a Wicked Brick display case, a fun chance to challenge my hobby skills.
Slaves to Darkness, Blades of Khorne,
Fyreslayers, Kharadron,
Sylvaneth, Idoneth, Lumineth Realm Lords
Cities of Sigmar, Helsmiths,
Daughters of Khaine, Gloomspite Gitz,
Seraphon, Ossiarchs, Sons of Behemet
We didnโt start the fire...
Sons of the Phoenix Deathwatch Veteran with a Plasma Incinerator hanging by his side, holding a Plasma Pistol in his left hand and pointing with his right (probably yelling "That Xenos, the one over there, kill it! Kill it now!").

I sent nearly an hour just getting that strap in the right place for the Plasma Incinerator, but it was worth it I think.
Gunner Veteran seconded from the Sons of the Phoenix, because it'll be a nice chance to paint a bit of purple.
Grey carpet data trend line added
A graph with a downward trend X axis is size of bit Y axis is likelihood of dropping
The universal law of miniature assembly - the smaller the bit, the more likely it is to drop on the carpet and never be seen again.
Nice. That does seem like a better option without the presence of chapter/stormhost specific heraldry on the shoulderpad.
What if Stormcast, but Deathwatch? ๐ค
Speed painted a concept I've had percolating for a while now - an elite band of Stormcast veterans, handpicked from a variety of Stormhosts, known as the Watchers in Death.
The Questor Soulsworn would be a good kit for this if I ever get around to it.
That the article only contains three misconceptions is, in itself, a misconception, right? There's way more than just those.
"I'm going to need two guns to purge these Xenos."
Going for a Gun Fu approach for my latest Deathwatch Kitbash.

How do you squeeze all of 40k into a single tome? Where do all of those quotes come from?
Find out on this week's episode of Deep Strike over on Warhammer+ where David and Marcus discuss the creation of these incredible books!
