Canada is now doubling down on border miltitarization ($1.3 bill, surveillance tech, 25% increase in deportation). And not withdrawing harmful Safe Third Country Agreement (border wall w/ US).
Trump paused 25% tariff on Mexico, after Mexico agreed to further border militarization. Mexico already has one of world's largest immigration detention systems.
I repeat myself, but pay attention to migration policy! It's almost always compass for what's happening in both domestic & foreign policy
