Doing the 9 favorite video games thing.
Robot Alchemic Drive is an unexpected, yet incredible pull. Hell yeah.
Screenshot showing I've gotten every achievement in Resident Evil Requiem.
Great video game.
Definitely gonna replay the 2 and 4 remakes now.
About to start my third playthrough of Resident Evil 9, and my hyperfixation of the Resident Evil franchise has been reinvigorated with a burning hot intensity.
5 CM Per Second is pretty good, I personally think it still suffers from some of his overly saccharine storytelling, but before Your Name it was pretty much -the- quintessential Shinkai film.
I recently endeavored to watch every Sam Raimi movie that I hadn't seen.
My biggest takeaway is that we don't talk about "The Quick and the Dead" nearly enough.
every shot-on-video, made-with-a-camcorder horror movie that's just some teenage friend group fucking around in the woods with some fake blood and a monster mask contains more artistic merit, human joy and creative light than anything AI has ever made or will ever, ever make
Ed from Ed, Edd, and Eddy, showing Mothra's Egg to Edd while eating a jawbreaker, as if to imply he wants to eat it like a jawbreaker.
I had a vision.

I liked Frontiers, but the best parts of it were definitely when it leaned into the "attitude" of modern Sonic rather than aping other franchises, like the boss fights with absolutely incredible accompanying music.
I love the way in which he infuses elements from anime, tokusatsu, mecha, grindhouse, horror, wrestling, and comics into his games. Goofy as hell, but manages to be stylishly hype and extremely unique.
Even if his games are janky or a little undercooked gameplay wise, they're a blast to experience.
Romeo is a Dead Man is bringing me a level of joy I haven't felt in months.
Suda 51, my king, he's done it again.
Thinking about that scene in Wolfenstein 2 where you are in a meeting with Hitler and he is a frail piece of shit who is just pissing, vomiting, and coughing all over himself.
I frequently regret my decision to not fight for my job harder because of the financial instability, but after watching your recent video, it helped me feel at peace with my decision. So thank you for being so vocal, both about renewable energy AND the state of the country.
As is the case with giant corporations, inevitable mass layoffs met us. I opted to be "voluntarily laid off" because of my moral conflict with who I was now working for. I've been out of work for 6 months now with no real opportunities in sight due to how bad the market is.
Thank you for this video, it helped me immensely in a time a deep regret and frustration.
I worked for a very big company in the Renewable Energy industry for the last 10 years. A couple years ago the company was acquired by a massive oil company and I (among many of my peers) were furious.
It's gotten to a point where if someone utters the word "budget" I know they aren't coming from an educated place.
It's like people don't even try and approach the subject critically anymore. At this point I'd take people at least watching Shirobako, anything to educate themselves even a little.
Ghost Rider should, by every metric, be a bigger deal.
In solidarity with today's ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA blackout, MinnMax is donating $1 to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota for every share of this Bluesky post for the next hour.

We just don't see movies do "real robot" style mecha like this very often. Despite being light on substance, it knocks it out of the park immensely hard with it's visual identity. One that was so striking for it's time, that it's a clear point of influence for many iconic franchises.
Demo was fantastic, cannot wait for the full release.
As a game, extremely addicting and left me wanting more.
As an experience, rides a fine line between goofy, compelling, and creepy. Perfectly evocative of the era it's replicating.
One could only hope!
Huge recommendation for Seance of Blake Manor if that isn't on your radar yet, it's one of my favorite detective style games I've played in quite some time!
Fantastic intertwining of folklore and the supernatural with the main mysteries in that one.
It's genuinely bonkers that a franchise as big as this is so inaccessible in the states now.
I'm so glad I got all the UC shows before the licensing rights expired, but I am kicking myself for not snagging a couple of the AU's when I could.
Me, a fool - "I really wish I had the foresight to have bought Gundam Wing on blu-ray for my collection, I kinda wanna watch that soon"
*Looks up prices on ebay*
I place a curse upon Crunchyroll's entire bloodline for buying out Rightstuf.
It's the platonic ideal of a Godzilla flick that I resonate with!!! Never had more fun watching a movie than that one.
It's always fun just how different people's lists end up being.
I generally prefer goofier/absurd Godzilla so I lean that way more often than not.
1. Godzilla Final Wars
2. Godzilla vs. Destoroyah
3. Godzilla vs. Hedorah
4. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah
5. Godzilla vs. Megalon
Sorry, no Shin to be found on mine.
I absolutely loathe depression posting on main, especially while shit is so dire out there and my problems are actively meaningless in the grand scheme.
But damn if I don't feel like I'm suffocating lately.
If anyone knows of a place hiring System Admins or Software Admins, I'm all ears!
It's been over half a year since I lost my job of 10 years as a System Administrator through mass layoffs.
I have sent hundreds of apps, and only gotten a mix of ghosted or rejection.
I'm honestly at my wits end, it's so debilitating. Even with my experience, I can't even get one interview.
