I actually made a practice canvas with my purple paint so I could test out pastels and coloring pencils before using them in my study piece. I’m workshopping my recent project and thought this presentation represented the emotional state I wanted

I am very excited to see how it all turns out in end for sure 💖 and I like to do multiple layers so I know I can really work on the subject lines to make it pop

Not sure if I’m happy with this decision yet but I am working with markers to add color because the paper is not heavy enough to hold paint or watercolor. Here goes the ugly phase as I try to figure out what I’m doing haha #art #artprocess #illustration
