Today I read of the Weimar Republic that "Germans increasingly demanded a state that could exercise authority" and it's crushing to think that future historians will probably write something similar about the US of today and that all of the heartache of dissent could be lost in one summary sentence.
I am of two minds when I hear about boycotting WaPo. On the one hand, many of the reporters there seem to be working doubly hard to do great work in spite of Bezos's meddling. But on the other hand, this:

Where's all that money from cuts to medical research, ending life-saving foreign aid projects, and sacking federal employees with years of institutional knowledge going? Now we know, and no one is surprised. Such blatant corruption.
Musk is saying he'll defy the judge's order.
So who is going to enforce it? The remaining real federal judges better figure this out fast.
We are now in a post-constitutional order (aka, it's an in-progress coup). Also, remember when Musk broke election law and Garland let him get away with it?
The question remains if the Federalist Society’s goal was total judicial supremacy or just the unfettered power of the right kind of people as facilitated by judicial power where needed? I suspect the latter.
