4 years break from this game and we just got back after 8 months of no speedrunning/streaming after my 2nd child! This progress feels good esp knowing that with all the sleep deprivation and exhaustion, we can still do very well here! (Also shows that most of no pb/brainfog was depression related)

Gettint a little cv4 in here and there and big relief, we can still do all the big strats. The rust is real but the muscle mem is still there!

I started derusting Valis IV for whenever I can manage to sr again (who knows when that is). Crazy to think that with my big girl, she was only 5 months when I derusted Belmont's Revenge to run for SGDQ. Still dunno how I managed to do that. It's good memories <3

Despite being on a big hiatus it feels so good to see so much activity on CV4 lately (esp the Joe WR hehe). Game's not dead!

Ach danke. Ist ein bisschen doof in der Warteschleife, nicht zu wissen, wie viel wirklich zurückkommt, aber kann mich sicher dran gewöhnen. Ist etwas "disconnected", weil es so unterschiedlich ist rechts und links, aber es geht und meistens fällts nicht auf

I partially lost hearing on the left 2 weeks ago. After testing doc said it isn't sudden sensorineural hearing loss, but an inner ear issue and all I can do now is wait and be patient. (no meds while breastfeeding, also recent science shows no evidence that cortisone really helps). Slow progress tho

I thought it would be much easier 2nd time. In some ways it is, but I guess I learned how much I appreciated my personal freedom again between 1 and 2 :D

5 months since last stream. Nights been rough, best I get 5.5h with a lot of interrupted sleep. Aside from my toddler, I barely had any conversations that aren't baby language. I love this, but I also miss getting good sleep, enjoying more coffee, living after my own schedule, music, games. :'D

I've been putting some prac (for funsies) into the advanced 4-4 zip which became more viable thanks do DCRippa's science on it. I get it maybe a 15% of times now which is barely anything.

Stardew Fall music never fails to calm me down. I can't wait for summer to be over so I can get comfy on my coffee farm again.
(Yes, I always have a playthrough ready at fall so I can enjoy fall while it's fall IRL. Did I mention fall is my fav season??? :D)

I'm still trying to figure that out for myself. But big part so far and what I feel very deep inside is def making a difference for others, trying to be good influence and support for my kids, friends and whoever needs someone to help or guide them.
