The goal here is to get this process working in some respect in after effects, with the whole animation split by color and basically have the same thing running in three comps that blend together…. 😵
Mostly so I can add jitter and mimic the registration moving

I basically created layers with different density patterns clipped to them, then adjusted the color of the group before adding a blending mode. Feels a bit like padding around in a dark room to find the correct color combo, even with a CMY palette
