yes things can get pretty weird when you are outside the beauty standard (not just with being fat either)
in my experience there is definitely a lot of enthusiasm for my appearance but having standards and boundaries really helped me figure out who i wanted close to me
for real i am ready for the leech therapy. DBT, staying busy, and being sober have helped me the most
it's really, really hard. harder than most will ever know. i haven't tried TMS or ECT yet and i don't really want to so i'm just raw dogging it
it did not help me but i'm pretty treatment resistant, meds in general don't work for me. it helps a lot of people though, you should keep on it
