These prolapsed anuses who are demanding loyalty to a terrible possible candidate this early instead of fighting for a better candidate at all donβt want to fix problems they just like their racism & bigotry with a more polite sheen to it so they can enjoy it with a salad fork. Useless fucks.
Do younger people know about the huge effort that was put into decreasing the % of smokers. Education campaigns in print, on TV, in schools, new restrictions/enforcement, labeling, a soupçon of public shaming, changes in how smoking was depicted, etc. Might guide us in anti-anti-vax efforts.
"I don't want to have to explain to my kids what gay people are" is ridiculous. You have to explain everything to them! They've never seen anything before! What else are you doing this about? You don't like broccoli so you just refuse to ever let your child know about what broccoli is? Okay man
I tried to search on TimothΓ©e Chalamet to find out what everyone is freaking out over and accidentally wrote TimothΓ©e Calamari and I'm now picturing him as a squid twink
From the studio that brought you, "What if literally everything around you had feelings," and "Okay, what if your FEELINGS had feelings,"
Comes, "What, like queers have feelings?"
I guess this is kind of a PSA that if youβre fleeing one the worst states for trans people, consider Illinois for this reason.
Also other safe states should start doing this too, pls!
So⦠I've been writing for about 18 years on the idea that if you somehow manage to make meaningfully conscious machine minds & then you treat them as tools, then you're enslaving those minds, and that's pretty messed up. And this ties into something else I've re-upped recently: LLMs can't say "No."
Agreed, im so done with that bullshit
The democratic party has been warned, in 2025 and in 2026, to find someone better.
LGBTQIA+ and anyone who cares about us are not going to support the centrist transphobic dehumanizing scum they force on us.
Theyβre quite literally telling us to actively participate in the sacrifice ourselves for themβ¦as if thatβs the only option.

Depending on the type of enterprise, the business is always controlled by employees, customers, producers etc, no matter what: appeals to 76%. https://abacusdata.ca/canadians-want-stability-co-ops-deliver-it/
Cooperatives are widely supported in the United States. New data shows the same is true in Canada. People value the ability of co-ops to weather economic recessions better than other types of businesses, as well as their democratic and inclusive nature.

It is funny to me though how all of a sudden some people who bleat on and on and on about accountability and co-governance go silent when it is in fact time to push back hard.
That ABA had its origins as a conversion therapy for boys who were deemed pathologically "effeminate," and it wasn't until homosexuality was removed from the DSM in the 70s that O. Ivar Lovaas, who is on record as saying Autistic children are not fully human, turned his Skinnerian torture on us.
this made me cackle all the way through
I was introduced to this Anti-AI slop site by @kamkonek.bsky.social where your answers come from humans LARPing as AI and you in turn also pretend to be AI. youraislopbores.me
Vestibular disorders affect people's balance as well as their visual perception of their world around them. Don't make animations, sliders, videos, or rapid movement start automatically, as autoplaying elements could trigger a bad reaction in people who have vestibular disorders.

This is wildly common in chronic illness because doctors are taught to cure and not treat. So theyβre not flexible or imaginative and if it doesnβt work the way they were taught or expect they canβt just mark it in their win column so itβs not worth their time and now youβre making them work

It's the trans version of "maybe if you smiled a little more"
To understand what it's like for trans people watching all this "nuanced reasonable debate" bullshit flow, just imagine all the "serious people" having a debate about abortion where the only participants are people who will never have an abortion.
Oh, wait
Iβm a pinball gamer, very few video games interest me. I like batting an actual silver ball around for points and shaking a giant box to make it go where I want.
Staff at the nationβs largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention facility have placed bets on which detainee will be the next to die by suicide, according to new reporting from the Associated Press based on 911 calls and detainee accounts.
I think Illinois is an exception, they passed a law recently that the state will issue a new one if the birth state or country wonβt. Of course you have to live here to use it. api.courthousenews.com/new-illinois...
Your brain and data may be in the internet, a world that is both everywhere and nowhere. But your ass is still firmly planted in the jurisdiction of somebody's courts. And police.
Proton is correct. The odds of you finding a company that won't comply with its local police are basically zero.
Someone who looks a lot like Spice, in all black standing arms outstretched holding a book (a bible) whilst police horses charge it. There's a crowd behind. They didn't run it down & the line was held.
Outnumbered the fascists.
Police failed to break our line.
They got bundled into taxis & fucked off home.
Got a pic that goes crazy hard out of the whole equation.
Lovely Saturday, over all.
When politicians don't honor their promises, our work is to make them. To do that, we have to build enough power to make them. I understand why people get disappointed but this is unfortunately how things work in politics.
