Again, if the tradeoff is "longer lines at the airport so DHS cannot abduct immigrants and murder Americans with impunity," I will simply get to the airport earlier from now on.

What my days are like

Passenger (smokes right next to me)

Me β€œsir we don’t allow that” (aside from being illegal, the smell physically bothers me)

Passenger (does it again)

Me β€œdude… I already told you once”

Passenger (rants about unhoused people doing it, so he should be entitled to do so)

The smell makes me a little nauseous and the last thing I need is to be queasy while working because someone can’t follow a simple instruction.

How hard is that to understand?

β€œHow dare you do your job and ensure your workspace is safe and comfortable for you, what about my addiction!?!”

Who do I know who’s got expertise in immigration law? A dear friend’s brother was illegally detained by ICE 2d ago. The family are refugees who fled political violence 20 yrs ago, have followed legal process. He’s at a detention center in Freeborn MN adult detention center.

DM me. Thanks.

Kansas invalidates trans residents’ driver’s licenses effective immediately This law was vetoed by Governor Laura Kelly, but the Kansas Congress passed it despite this.

The Automobile: The ultimate machine for independence and freedom. No government infringing on my civil rights in MY metal box!

Unless I’m trans. Or Black. Or Brown. Or disabled. Or poor. Or an immigrant.

the party that wants to require ID to vote abruptly invalidating a thousand people’s IDs overnight seems like a pretty giant flashing red light

This is why you can't really collaborate with the feds under any circumstances. If your policy is "we will only collaborate with them when it's unrelated to civil immigration enforcement" then the Trump administration will just lie about what they're doing!

Kansas Sends Letters To Trans People Demanding The Immediate Surrender Of Drivers Licenses "The legislature did not include a grace period."

It seems all Kansas-issued trans drivers' licenses are invalid, effective tomorrow

It is now illegal for trans people to drive a car until they surrender their license at a DMV (that most will need to drive to) and have it reissued with the wrong gender marker

This was never about woman's sports

You're receiving this notice because you have one or more Amazon Lists that are shared with others and have a delivery address set up. We're writing to inform you about an upcoming change to Amazon Lists. Starting March 25, 2026, we will remove the option to restrict purchases from third-party sellers for list items. When this change takes effect, gift purchasers will be able to purchase items sold by third-party sellers from your lists and your delivery address will be shared with the seller for fulfillment. This change will provide gift purchasers with access to a wider selection of items when shopping from your lists.

Important note: When gifts are purchased from your shared or public lists, Amazon needs to provide your shipping address to sellers and delivery partners to fulfill these orders. During the delivery process, your address may become visible to gift purchasers through delivery updates and tracking information. To help protect your privacy, we recommend using a PO Box or non-residential address for any list you share with public audiences.

Below are your recently used shared and public lists. For each list, you can go to β€œManage List” to review sharing settings or update delivery addresses.

Amazon is making a change to Wishlists that may make your address visible to gift buyers, starting on March 25, 2026.

They recommend you get a PO Box to protect yourself from accidentally being doxxed.

the license criminalization scheme in Kansas...stripping immigrants of their legal status...

all of this shows, and is meant to show, that the legal rights of disfavored groups are conditional and can be rescinded at will

such discriminatory chaos is incompatible with a real inclusive democracy

It is not something that is often remarked on, but it is increasingly difficult to just have a spontaneous gathering in an urban area and not have the police attempt to break it up.

Yeah, gambling is a addiction. In one of previous jobs had a coworker that would spend about half a paycheck on lottery tickets while being under constant threat of being evicted for not paying rent. I learned quickly that lending money to him was a lost cause. And we were paid about minimum wages.

So in conversation with some friends, turns out there are only THREE KMarts left.

One in Guam, near the airport.
One on St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands

And on left in the continental US, just outside of Miami, about a short drive due to north of the Miami zoo.

Don't congratulate John Roberts or the Supreme Court.

Congratulate Rick Woldenberg, the Chicago-area leader of Learning Resources, an educadtional toy company that had the courage to sue the president of the United States to save his family business.

As well as everyone else who stepped up.

Disability doesn’t care how much money you make.

Disability doesn’t care what you believe.

Disability doesn’t care who you voted for.

Disability doesn’t care how old you are.

Disability doesn’t care about your healthy lifestyle.

Disability can happen to anyone at any time, and no one is immune.
