On its own the anime is fine. The adaptation was made with passion and care. I'm grateful for it, truly! But having played the game I can't help but see where it missed 😭

Totally recommend giving the game a try. Gameplay is fun and characters have more nuance than what the anime could cover.

Would have liked to make a big illustration, including other Gnosia characters, as a celebration for the anime's end but I have multiple comms in my queue atm so I can't work on anything big right now

Yes!! I actually thought that loop was fully scripted because it introduces a new role. But then Gina said "see you tomorrow" and it triggered the lie detection and I immediately went OH SHIT

On one hand, I understand the idea of trying to attract new audience to expand the fanbase. But on the other hand, why wouldn't you turbo cater to the existing audience that has supported the game all these years? Loyal fans can and will to great lengths to support an IP when they feel catered to

There's literally no reason whatsoever for why they couldn't use more fem Yuri / use third Yuri except... they didn't want to??? I don't get it 😭

Like, I completely agree about teasing all those events we wanted to see but didn't get. Disappointing at best, salt to the wound at worst. But still I can kinda understand... like Bug Raqio makes no sense with the anime plot now so it's quickly brushed away.

I'm *even more* confused now why we're stuck with default Yuri for 99% of the run. Oh so fem Yuri wasn't just a one time thing and could actually happen multiple times? Third Yuri is also real?

You're right and you should say it. As much as I love Setsu, and think Setsu x Yuri is cute in theory, Raqio and Yuri have had way more chemistry in the anime. Which makes it particularly weird that I haven't seen much art of the ship despite the constant fuel it's been getting... 🤨

Bah, I dunno. I just think there's been missed opportunities & strange choices. Yeah 21 ep are not enough to fit everything and develop everyone. I understand that. But now we have hindsight and I can see so many parts that seem unnecessary. Story structure could have been so much better...
