Maybe I'm a control freak when working with Copilot 😂
Do you read them all?
IMO, the downside of throwing so much information into the models is that this information can contain implementation descriptions that you don't want.
That's why I keep it small, restart conversations, and switch models. Also, delete those .md files to have fresh new contexts
That's really huge .md files :-D
It's amazing what's possible with AI.
In December, I started a project to create a "team" of AI agents that help to make web projects more secure.
I'm using AI to create intelligent agents.
Why? I let Copilot take small steps, and I review every change. I want to understand what Copilot does. I want to be in the loop on major changes and ask CP to let me review after each step of an implementation plan. The pragmatic way, this avoids slop and overengineering.
Interesting.
I'm missing something between "Claude Opus Era" and "Agentic Coding Workflow".
I'm using the wise coding workflow. Small content windows. Switching models. I'm writing requirements, asking, discussing, and reviewing.
Copilot is my junior pair programming partner who codes.
Step A — “Prompt for .md Plan” Icon: A person sitting at a computer terminal. Text: “Create .md plan.” Caption: Indicates that the process begins by prompting an LLM to create a Markdown plan file. Step B — “Create Plan & Diagrams” Icon: A flowchart diagram with the Mermaid logo. Caption: Describes generating a plan that includes Mermaid diagrams. Step C — “Review & Refine” Icon: A magnifying glass over a document. Caption: Suggests reviewing the Markdown file, reading the plan, and examining the diagrams. Step D — “Execute the Plan” Icon: A robotic arm pressing a button labeled “RUN.” Text: “Execute .md plan.” Caption: Indicates that once approved, the LLM should execute the steps described in the Markdown plan. Step E — “Validate with Playwright MCP” (Optional) Icon: Test tubes and a button labeled “TEST,” along with the Playwright logo. Caption: Notes that validation using Playwright MCP is optional.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing :-)
That makes total sense
Same. But it also transitions from a simple, fast Editor to a full-blown IDE.
I should start using VS Code profiles to keep it slim and fast depending on the stack I'm using. Also, I need to switch off new MCP tools I don't need from time to time.
However, the Copilot integration is great :-D
People love to help when they can. It makes people feel needed and valuable (no matter the context).
Because of this, asking for help is a kind of showing respect to them and their abilities.
Meaning, asking for help is never a sign of weakness; it's the opposite. It empowers them and you.
totally 🙈

Interesting 👍
Useful to quickly set up an AppHost. Guess setting up resource properties will be enhanced. For example, specifying an image for a container resource, etc.
Actually, @microsoftlearn.bsky.social is quite good. And it's great to see that there is documentation for beta stuff as well. But as always, development is faster than documentation, and I'd like to see which version works with the current documentation.
As an alternative to Microsoft Agent Framework, try the LlmTornado to write AI Agents in C#: llmtornado.ai
I know it's all beta and APIs change a lot, but it's a bit frustrating that almost every demo is already outdated just a couple of weeks later. It would help a lot to specify which version of the packages was used when the demo was written.
Every Microsoft Agent Framework tutorial these days:
* Create the app
* Add prerelease packages
* Copy the demo code
* Set configuration
* dotnet run
* fail 🤬
@microsoftlearn.bsky.social Please pin the package versions in all blog posts and tutorials to the version that was used in the demo.
🎁 Aspire 13.1 just dropped… and it quietly fixes a lot of stuff:
• Real HTTPS in local dev
• Built-in AI agent support
• New ASP.NET + React starter
• Dashboard finally shows what you need
Holiday shipping, but make it better 👀

HR security is a separate topic, but also part of the broader security journey.
Anyway, when I started working on Application Security, I realized it's more than just caring about secure development. I had to involve management, HR, sales, and procurement.
This is a vast and interesting topic. Yes, please provide a course, talks, and blog posts to raise awareness.
Doesn't this topic also somehow include (or at least tackle) contractors that provide code or any part to the product to build?
The EF Core Power Tools saves me hours. Thanks to @erikej.bsky.social for building this great VS Extension:
