Preparing for our 2nd annual Book Flood (the Icelandic tradition of giving books the night before Christmas and then quietly reading them while drinking nice drinks & eating snacks). But I need some book recommendations for toddlers & people who like science fiction & ethical business. Any ideas?

Tbh I had to look up the definition and it made me laugh - it’s root is Latin for enemy, but last week one of my friends explained to me the word in Māori for enemy is “angry friend” which felt very right.

Our local community was out for hours today waving at people driving past to awhi the hīkoi. Probably around 150 people showed up, all ages & joyous. I reckon around a third of the cars that drove past showed their support too. #toitūtetiriti
