Happy #FieldworkFriday Mariners fans! Cal Raleigh said he could feel the ground shaking in Game 2, so PNSN came to take a closer look! We installed a seismometer right here in T-Mobile Park to record seismic energy during game 5. Seattle, we want to feel this place rocking! #SeizeTheMoment
Dodgers broadcast was discussing the science behind the perception of time between children and adults. After hearing the explanation, the color commentator pauses and asks, "Am I gonna feel any better?"
Andy Pages then smashes a dinger into space, thus ending the existential crisis on commentary.
In response to a number of developments in the labor movement, Red Star is proud to give you a sneak peek into our upcoming issue of Zenith a little early. Christian CW writes about how socialist labor work must put politics first: redstarcaucus.org/zenith4-unio...

Weβre excited to announce the launch of Red Starβsπ°οΈSATELLITEπ°οΈprogram. Our Satellite program is our new vehicle for an ongoing prospective membership experience for fellow DSA members who want to join us in our work, developing and building a DSA ready to lead the working class.
The DSA Fund, envisioned as a sister organization to the Democratic Socialists of America, has increasingly diverged from DSAβs core democratic principles. What was once conceived as a complement to DSAβs work has now become a source of significant tension within the movement.
This is still the greatest curve ball to a Law and Order clip I've ever seen.
Hazel W (@zelle.bsky.social) is a disciplined leader with a scientific socialist outlook, heres a fresh piece writing from her perspective as former chair of California DSA on its successes and failures and what that means for other statewide DSA formations. democraticleft.dsausa.org/2025/03/07/r...

I remember arguing with a guy on the picket line about the effectiveness of strikes. Here's my answer: they work. After 12 days on strike Seattle Art Museum visitor services officers have a tentative agreement for a contract.

2. The union Wasnβt me but a guy I knew. He was a fan of certain βmind altering vegetation,β as was his coworker. He agreed to sell some to his coworker and soon became βthe guyβ at the auto repair place. One of the managers noticed him always having quick little chats with his coworkers and ran in the complete wrong direction with it and thought my friend was trying to organize a union and he (the manager) was going to stop that. So my friend was terrified he was going to get fired until he realized that retaliating against him for selling pot was totally legal but retaliating against him for pro-union activity wasnβt. And so, to protect himself from being fired for being mistaken as a union organizer, he organized a union.

It is a moon lit night in a narrow valley of a high mountain spooky terrain. The moon has a halo that makes it look twice its own size, and is only barely covered by slightly wispy clouds. The mountains in the distance are blueish white from the splash of the moons haunted hues, but in between the walls of darker rock that crowd in to the foreground, two-robed creatures that are likely men stand lit by a torch that one of them holds like a holy relic. Their hoods are pointed and drawn up over their heads, but we can see the whites of their long impressive beards that make them look like wizards, though perhaps they are merely otherworldly cultists. Their faces are in shadow and they are hunched suspiciously, as if they are up to some dark mischief and their hands are raised in a way that you cannot tell if they are conversing, about to exchange items, or casting some spell.
