Last year, 2,008 refugees were accommodated by our network. That's a 106% increase on 2022/23.

NACCOM members were forced to turn away 3,450 people experiencing destitution and homelessness in 2024/2025.
This is likely to be a severe underestimation of the scale of unmet need.

The Government's 'A National Plan to End Homelessness' aims to halve long-term rough sleeping.
But it does not go far enough to address how immigration and asylum policies actively drive homelessness – such as as No Recourse to Public Funds conditions.
