This absolutely works (have moved my mail around so much over the years). Went iCloud > Gmail a while back cause I was sick of all the innovation happening in the gmail space (like Mimestream, it’s a gorgeous native client) but yeah, if you’re not addicted to multiple labels then imap is fine
