This gives away the whole game, as people have been warning for years and years. This is identity erasure of a whole class. the precedents for having documents revoked by group…are not good.

This is pretty hilarious. Retaliation *against* your attack really can't be the imminent threat that justifies your attack. I think the concept of linear time pretty much settles this question without the need for additional argument.
CNN's Natasha Bertrand writes: "Rubio just confirmed this, saying DoD had indications that Iran would strike US forces…if Israel first attacked Iran." Followed by her writing: '“The imminent threat was that we knew that if Iran was attacked, and we believed they would be attacked, that they would immediately come after us, and we were not going to sit, sit there and absorb a blow before we responded,” Rubio told press on Capitol Hill Monday.'
This is one of administration's best arguments - and it's trash.
Can't justify then joining the very war of aggression (under international law) that creates the blowback.
As best justifies targeting ballistic missiles in defense. Not leadership decapitation, etc.
Can't justify skipping Congress!

Two photos. The first shows Catturd tweeting: Name one US inspired regime change that hasn't ended in absolute disaster The next tweet shows him posting an AI illustration of Khamenei turned into a pile of dust. It says "I'm eliminated."
Two tweets. The first shows Laura Loomer promoting her show, where she says "A message has been sent that we are not interested in going back to the way politics were prior to Donald Trump, prior to 2016. We don't want warhawks. We don't want any more Neocons. We want American First. Period. End of discussion." The next tweet says: Today is a great day. Our military is amazing. @PeteHegseth is an absolute killer. Now you see why the Deep State worked so hard against him. It’s great having a Sec War who has Infidel literally tattooed on his body. He actually gets it. God bless him.
Two tweets. The first shows Will Chamberlain tweeting: The Republican Party is no longer the party of regime change and endless wars. If you want to be its standard-bearer that is a non-negotiable position. The next tweet shows him posting "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead." The tweet has a USA flag attached.
Two tweets. The first shows Gunther Eagleman tweeting: "Warmonger Lindsey Graham just rushed to Fox to advocate for U.S. involvement as soon as he could. He is also pushing for a US-backed regime change in Iran. I would like to renominate Graham to get a one-way ticket to the frontlines of every war he wants America involved in." There's an attached video of Graham speaking. The next shows Eagleman tweeting: UST IN! President Trump is HARD AT WORK all weekend after the massive strikes on Iran! He’s already on the phone with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte! Trump is a machine!" There's an attached video of a news segment about the war in Iran.

“Crunchwrap Supreme Court” is God-tier work, well done
“if you won’t let us use your product to spy on Americans and kill without supervision we will single-handedly destroy your business by fiat” is the single most authoritarian anti-business action I can ever remember any administration taking
I completely agreed with you… until I read this piece at Current Affairs. The DoD name, which is correct, obfuscates what the Department has become under Trump 2.0 and the former Fox News host.

A goodbye note to co-workers from veteran CBS News producer Mary Walsh:
"We've been told to aim our reporting at a particular part of the political spectrum. Honestly, I don't know how to do that."

Is this a reverse uno card that actually works?
the scumbag trying to tear al green's sign out of his hands is texas rep. troy nehls, a former sheriff, who afterwards asked the president to sign his tie like he was a beatle.
Trump’s tariffs were ruled illegal. Americans could be owed up to $170B.
Amazon planned to show how much tariffs added to prices. The White House called it “hostile.” Trump called Bezos. The plan disappeared.
Now it’s much easier for corporations to keep any refunds.
He and his family deserved so much better.

It’s both funny and cosmically correct that the U.S. men’s hockey chodes will have to sit through 2+ hours of rambling from their addled little king while the U.S. Women’s team gets to skip the speech and party with Flavor Flav in Vegas

Look at this bullshit.
If I was the parent of a victim, I’d be livid.
We’re at the point now where if it isn’t handwritten, it can’t be assumed to be real.

The reason we're here is that tens of millions of people will punch a hole in a wall if they hear someone used food stamps to buy soda but they're fine if the right-wing podcaster turned fbi director uses his taxpayer funded private jet to go party whenever he feels like it bsky.app/profile/thed...
In just 25 hours, the U.S. has had four tariff regimes:
1. Liberation Day Mark_II_re-revised_(final)
2. Liberation Day Mark_II_re-revised_(final) - IEEPA tariffs
3. Liberation Day Mark_II_re-revised_(final) - IEEPA tariffs +10%
4. Liberation Day Mark_II_re-revised_(final) - IEEPA tariffs +10% + 5%
Doing one thing right every few years doesn’t absolve the Roberts court. Especially after Dobbs and immunity.
Couldn’t have put it better myself
What in the fresh hell is the insanely nonsense
The Army will soon have senior warrant officers bid against each other in an eBay-style auction for retention bonuses and six-year service commitments. Soldiers who agree to take a “minimum” bonus can cash in, while those who ask for larger ones will lose out, Army officials announced in a recent press release. Dubbed the “Warrant Officer Retention Bonus Auction,” the system will debut in March, an Army official said Friday. In the news release, Army officials said the new system represents a “shift from traditional, fixed‑rate bonuses to a more flexible, market-driven system and that the auction encourages warrant officers to bid their “true value.”
