Also: the depth? Yikes. Loons better have the lead after 60 a lot this season because that bench isn’t providing any goals … or even creating chances.
Doyle gave Nash an A+ offseason grade. Loons: D. Hard to disagree. Thought the game plan was naive given the attacking firepower of Nash. Markanich is off to a bad start. This team is trying to play more out of the back—but can they? Triantis is great. Pereyra is pretty good. Romero situation—weird.

Bad start to the season for him. He’s never been particularly good with the ball. But if he defends well, he can be a starter given he’s great on offensive set pieces. But his defense struggled to end last season, and it’s bad so far. Plus the poor passing remains. Not good!
