Remember when WaPo was a serious news source?
US soldiers are getting orders to usher in the apocalypse so White Jesus comes back and kills all the gay people, and there are too *few* of those nutjobs?
The shot where he tries to dunk and the ball just disappears into the void. I hate when it does that.
I'm gonna be honest, y'all, I miss those four years when we weren't on the brink of nuclear war.
Dear Iran: Florida is the pointy bit at the bottom.
Puppykiller Kristi is officially fired. Prosecute her next.
kill the imposter syndrome in you head because not only is there someone out there doing it worse than you, they're also using chat gpt to do it
Anyways.
I legit got out of a ticket once by crying. I was having a REALLY bad couple of days and was pulled over for expired plates which I couldn't afford to renew.
Even county-wide I'm worried we're heading into a second dust bowl. It's not just Colorado. But this time it'll affect the western states the hardest and we might see people migrating back east in the coming years. All while this admin cuts red tapes and offers free bjs to eco-hostile corporations.
This article is a few weeks old but Colorado is on track for a record low snowfall, which could result in drought conditions by the end of April, water rationing, and a devastating wildfire season. At what point do we start putting oil tycoons on trial for crimes against humanity?
Update: didn't get the job but because they said I was overqualified and they're recommending me to a different position at a different park. Fingers still crossed.
Transphobes are first and foremost misogynists. There is no such thing as a transphobic feminist. If they're willing to come after trans women, they will eventually come after all women.
The stupidest mother fucker in Congress goes to one of a couple dozen Republicans on a daily rotation. Here is today's winner:
Seems like you shouldn't be celebrating a robot taking your job? But also Bluesky has been down twice a week on average in the last two months.
It's a bit like comparing which bone cancer is the best, but there's something cathartic about seeing ChatGPT lose the title of "most downloaded LLM chatbot app".
I moved from Missouri and all it cost me was borrowing money from my grandparents and maxing out my credit card thus tanking my credit score. π

Just in case they are looking to see public response.
I am against war. I am against collaborating with warmongers. I'm against war crimes and the massacre of children. Of anyone.
War is monstrous.
What is being done cannot be justified. I am ashamed of and disgusted by the horror we unleash.
I think all four of these pictures were taken in Mueller State Park or nextdoor Dome Rock Wildlife Area.
More photo spam from Teller County, CO. The Pikes Peak area might be the most attractive part of the country.
They teach and act and do, and now I'm not a Christian anymore. I firmly believe that if more "Christians" actually read the entire Gospel, they'd leave their shitty doomsday cults and the world would be much better off.
The vast vast vast majority of so-called "Christians" have not read the Bible. For thousands of years they weren't allowed to. People were killed for translating it out of Latin. And now I see why. I actually read the Bible and realized it doesn't make sense and DEFINITELY doesn't mesh with what
there are a lot of people working in the government right now who want to intentionally trigger an apocalypse to create the conditions for the return of jesus christ and I know how crazy that sounds but its absolutely true
I did a whole Youtube miniseries of them throughout Kansas. Thinking about a followup for "Creepy Colorado".

Exterior photograph of the historic Victor Hotel in Teller County, CO. The building is a reddish orange brick, four stories tall, in a turn-of-the-century Victorian Nuveau style.
The plaque for the historic (and haunted) Victor Hotel elevator, installed in 1900.
The interior of the historic Victor Hotel showing the Elevator.
Hazel making a "shaka" sign in front of the Elevator. She looks tired from hiking 20 miles and is wearing a blue coat over a flannel and yellow sunglasses.
Also while in Teller County I stopped by the historic Victor Hotel and took a selfie with the elevator.
Interview went well and then I hiked like six miles through Teller County, bringing my total hiked distance in the past week to ~16 miles. Saw bear tracks, mountain lion tracks, bobcat tracks, sheep tracks, and fox tracks in the process.
It's my half birthday today and I'm spending it driving up into the mountains to interview with my dream employer. Wish me luck!
There are rockstars that do that lol
