I used to just write poems. Now I illustrate them too and turn them into comics. You can buy my first one here: https://ko-fi.com/s/943b7dfafd

"I am very sorry you all had to find out I took dark money from a PAC to smear a progressive candidate. I had no idea what I was saying when I copy/pasted their lines, but it was definitely about balanced candidate scrutiny"

Peter is her friend, and a real person. He deserves compassion and understanding. The rest of you can fuck off.

This important. I’ve been doing a small amount of research about the size of the Trans Vote.

TLDR: it’s bigger than you might think…

1. Trans and non-binary people currently make up about 1% of the vote but….

2. Many of us are supported by close relatives, parents, siblings and children…

Again, the common factor here is that they think they're real people and you're not.

Here is a tale of ordinary misogyny.

Except it isn’t. This man is a barrister who has been warned before, and who feels so secure, that he provides his chambers contact in his Twitter profile.

Here is the Tweet, please follow the thread:

I’m so fascinated by how the sanctions against Iran has made them not dependent on US financial institutions and how they are going straight for the dollar

Sir Keir Starmer's former chief of staff used his personal email address to communicate with Lord Mandelson before his controversial appointment as ambassador to the United States
The government has published only 31 messages and documents involving
Mandelson that relate to his appointment and dismissal as Washington ambassador, all from official email addresses
The government's disclosures do not include any messages from Morgan McSweeney, a former friend of the peer who played a key role in his appointment
The Tories are calling for messages sent from private email accounts to be made public.
They claim there has been a cover-up
No 10 has rejected the claims. It pointed to a letter tonight from Sir Laurie Magnus, the independent adviser on ministerial standards, who said that the 'relevant process for a political appointee' had been followed. It is worth noting that the process for a political appointee is far less stringent
A Government spokesman said: 'The Government is committed to complying with the Humble Address in full, while continuing to support the Metropolitan

Guys, just say β€œKeir Starmer wasn’t really PM in any meaningful sense; Morgan McSweeney removed the US ambassador and gave her job to Peter Mandelson, as a payoff for services rendered that we’ll refuse to talk about until everyone is dead or retired”. You will feel better after you say it.

It’s not just trans people who distrust judges or the Labour Party - it’s their family members, friends, partners, adjacent LGBTQ & feminist communities, and those with empathy, who have had their eyes opened by the (hidden) cultural genocide being enacted by powerful people in the UK, and beyond.

14.03.2026 09:06 πŸ‘ 117 πŸ” 32 πŸ’¬ 3 πŸ“Œ 2

Interesting that as we become more unchecked in pointing out what society does to trans women, transmisogynist groups escalate their own rhetoric in exact concert. If they were really that interested in being reasonable about things, they'd just sit back and let us look crazy

14.03.2026 09:13 πŸ‘ 27 πŸ” 4 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

They've always been able to do this.

When someone dies because they can't get the government payments they need, their blood is on the hands of Services Australia and every individual who chooses to work for it.

Also, as I said last year. None of this is new behaviour for Hodge.

He was the head of the Scottish Church's review that essentially concluded "egh we really don't like the idea of gay priests".

And if you read the report, it's full of the same exact same obsessive "is gayness biological?" shite.

13.03.2026 20:46 πŸ‘ 16 πŸ” 1 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

I agree. Hodge himself said he'd "take the flak" for the judgement & he disingenuously claimed it doesn't change any rights for anyone.

And now they are are on a media circuit to defend the ruling. That's not normal for Judges.

These aren't the actions of fools, they are the actions of liars.

We were honoured to be part of Trans Mission Live and to stand in solidarity with the trans+ community.

Thank you to the organisers, incredible talented artists, & especially the trans people who filled the arena with such powerful trans joy. The energy, warmth & community in the room was electric.

Dark money group offers influencers $1,500 for posts attacking Chicago Democratic primary candidate Progressive House candidate Kat Abughazaleh told MS NOW the secretive campaign is β€œfilled with false and defamatory claims.”

HOLY SHIT.

A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.

Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?

Let's be clear: you would not be pulling THAADs from South Korea and moving a Marine Expeditionary Unit from Japan to the Gulf two weeks after launching a war on Iran if you had properly anticipated the fallout it would be likely to cause.

Day 1: PM Polanski gives his first public address outside No. 10

Day 2: hundreds of thousands call 111 claiming they've measured an increase in cup size overnight, British commentariat fuming and sulking in the op/eds that they have to buy new tops. Nothing fits properly anymore

Hegseth: "We will keep pushing, keep advancing. No quarter, no mercy for our enemies."

No quarter is the refusal to take prisoners and instead just execute everyone. It's been considered a war crime for over a century.

Half the battle of working out what’s going on at any point is trying to suss who is telling you what’s happening within the very tight restrictions of access-based reporting, and who is a clueless doofus repeating whatever Dominic Cummings sent them today. The FT lads are in the former group.

13.03.2026 14:16 πŸ‘ 40 πŸ” 6 πŸ’¬ 2 πŸ“Œ 0

Pardon me, that was FT George, not FT Jim. FT Stephen agrees: he says - the big theme coming out of this is of a Prime Minister who is just not present, who is not actually in any meaningful way running the government.

it’s kinda worth saying that the lionisation of churchill as a historical figure had to be done very deliberately, cos a lot of people really fuckin hated him right from the start. a lot of the stuff that’s now received-wisdom β€˜british culture’ is just shit we had rammed down our throats
