My oldest son told me yesterday that his philosophy is that if you find some happiness in life and do your best to pass it on, then you're doing your best and you've succeeded at living. Personally, I'm astounded that anyone I raised can be that brilliant. #ProudMom

A white pibble with black spots, wearing a red shirt, under a black and white blanket, using a black and white gingham pillow, laying on a red couch.
Timeline cleanse: My dog, Noodle, refusing to come out under his blanket on the couch after two hours.

I have the bracelet, and it is a balm to my soul.
I love this movie so much.
On the five-year anniversary of my dog Terri's Gotcha Day, I submit to you this epic angry kazoo battle between baby Terri and former Elder Statesdog Artie, long may she live in our hearts.

So the Hamburgler, Swiper, and Dr. Doofenschmertz battling over who has to stand on bottom in the London Fog coat and exchanging emails with Scrooge McDuck.
I realized as I woke up this morning that I am confused as to why we aren't seeing new local newspapers pop up. Is it the overhead? The material goods? Lack of local businesses to bankroll the day-to-day costs through advertising? Help?
Same. I kept having friends be pissed off at me when I was in my 20s, then I realized it's because no one likes to be randomly told their life.
Your mom has skills. Also, all the other good things about this post.
Our furnace died. They can't install the replacement until tomorrow. We have three space heaters courtesy of the company to get us through the night.
My heat is off. My furnace is dead. It's gonna be tomorrow morning before they can install a new one. At least they left us a couple of space heaters. #brr #argh
My thoughts exactly.
Dear @markhamillofficial.bsky.social
Please consider guest starring on the Muppet Show again. We need a reunion between you and Miss Piggy in these dark times.
I can only offer cute pictures of my dogs but they are very cute.
Thank you,

His mysteries were kind of fun, but nothing really exceptional. There are so few old-gen sci-fi writers I really recommend anymore, and that makes me a little sad, but not really.
The prices are finally driving me off of the services and back to going to pick up food my dang self, or at least order directly from the business (even if that eventually goes through DoorDash or some similar service). It's worth it to avoid the $3+ markup per item, plus fees.
THIS. Thank you for being the one to say it. :)
Jupiter Ascending!
Our most recent rescue doggos was called Noodle, and I was like, we're totally going to change that, and then we met him and we were like... yep, his name is Noodle. What do you know?
Thinking about whoever said that by accepting a meal from people and then arresting them ICE agents broke a cultural taboo that was invented by, like, the first humans to set up a tent
Went and saw A Secret Agent today. Liked it better than Marty Supreme, which I saw last night. Taking a break from Oscar movies for a day or so.
I always think of him as some sort of weird life form wearing a human suit, who meant to name himself "Tom Human" but couldn't spell.
