First time trying out to make Taiwanese oyster omelette. I used $4.99 mussels as a substitute for oysters. $1.99 lettuce, $1.25 tomato paste. It doesn't taste as authentic since I only used what is on sale and available, but still happy with results. Mussels could be a great source of protein.

And this happened before AI took place; it just showed these are super common in the art industry in general. I thought if I worked "hard enough," I would somehow get some sort of approval, like a raise, etc. But I feel something was wrong, and I don't expect anything anymore.

I don't really know what to expect in this industry where people get exploited for cheap labor. I always tried hard to impress people and I don't know if I ever felt recovery from the industry and I never missed working in preschool instead of steady paycheck. Instead of feeling embarrassment.

I remembered the time when I worked in an animation studio, I was working as hard as I could to impress people so I could stay or get paid more. In the end, my AD told me lots of people were let go and told me Netflix only paid $6 USD per hour for people working in animation in Taiwananes studios.
