I don't think that US hegemony will disappear quickly, because alternatives will be slow to step up, if at all (it's expensive, for one thing), but there will definitely be changes that I don't think most Americans are prepared for.

There will be a post-Trump US, but Americans will need to be prepared for a world in which the US role will be much different than what they've been used to.
