Seconded.

The day after we put the final touches on issues #88-91 of βSwamp Thingβ, news broke about the passing of Tatjana Wood, the original colorist on the series. Tomorrow, March 2nd, would have been Tatjanaβs 100th birthday. Letβs raise a glass to one of comicsβ originals.
Funny. It doesn't look newish...
Womenβs Hockey team doing βfuck you, we arenβt coming to sex-abuser centralβ. πͺ
Following up on my earlier post about the late cartoonist John Staton, here is a link to his Celebration of Life ceremony page. It will be Sat. April 11 in College Park, MD. More details obviously at the link.

Literally my email back to Keezy ten seconds after I got this:
"OH MY GOD KEEZY OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD!!!"
Fuuuuuuuuuuuck of course
It appears that Woody Allen was trying to send a New York Times story about Marie Antoinette to Jeffrey Epstein, but accidentally emailed the NYT's obituary for the great comics artist Marie Severin instead
So now Marie Severin is in the Epstein Files, technically
What a fucking world
For Liam.
We did not properly punish the confederates. We did not properly punish the insurrectionists on January 6th. We have to punish ICE.
They canβt be allowed to slink back into their communities quietly. Expose them. Arrest them. Convict them. Imprison them.
Minnesota donation page! www.standwithminnesota.com If you can, send money for anti-ICE orgs and/or help with rent!!!
There arenβt actually. The First Amendment gives me the right to call you βGestapoβ to your face, as often as I want, with zero governmental consequences.
Hi all!

I wish I could watch MICHAEL CLAYTON for the first time again...
I keep thinking that Germany gave us Nazis, but they also gave us "denazification". There's a roadmap to getting past all this (for a few generations at least) if we've got the will to use it.
But that has to start with recognizing AND REMOVING the poison that's literally killing us.
If they're really that good, they'll switch parties at the very least. But any one of these motherfuckers who just say they have "concerns" or "misgivings" need to be shown the door. Immediately if not sooner.
Of all the brands folks are boycotting because they are silent on ICE/the T***p administration/etc., don't forget the most important one to shun:
Republicans.
None of this "they're one of the good ones" bullshit. Any Republican not disgusted by what that name has done should be shunned forever.
Whenever I see "the team up you never expected!" turn out to be someone you could have guessed, I always snarked and said "How about Spidey and Jesus?" But Sal has such a reach over the MU that it doesn't surprise me that when Spidey & JC DID crossover (even on the sly), Sal drew it.
RIP
βCan I say one thing before we end? This theme of what happens when hatred turns into violence is such an important theme in our film.
I will not be able to sleep tonight if I do not say, because we mentioned Harry Potter, that trans rights are human rights. I just wanted to say that.β
An illustration of Paul Bunyan, the giant American mythic lumberjack, giving one ICE agent a wedgie, and punting another with a shoe. Another ICE agent has just slipped and eaten shit on the ground, without anyoneβs help. The text reads PAUL BUNYAN SEZ FUCK ICE.
Paul Bunyan sez FUCK ICE.
βHeβs killing us in the streets and we still have to pay our taxes in Aprilβ is an incredibly compelling point.
This March 1965 Herblock cartoon about police violence against civil rights activists has added relevance today.
This is the thing that I keep coming back to
βI didnβt vote for THISβ Okay, well, a *huge* number of people knew that if the guy you voted for won, this is exactly what would happen. So why did they know and you didnβt? What did you miss? Why did you get it so wrong?
