The New Daily: "Wongβs statement came after the government told families of Australian officials in Israel and Lebanon to leave in the days before the war began on February 28."
So Albo and Wong knew all along. That then explains their odd response so far. Not surprising, I guess.
The hypocrisy is so dangerous. While signing us up for an illegal war & claiming it champions human rights of the Iranian people, the Albanese Gov is ramming thru new laws to ban people from #Iran with valid visas from entering Australia.

There have been some very bad developments today.
It took two hours for Albanese to declare support for the latest US/Israeli war crimes.
How long has it taken the Labor Party to consider raising the rate? To halting fossil fuels? To seriously address the racism to First Nations and Muslims?
The ALP in your head is long dead.
I forgot to mention racists, homophobes, transphobes, xenophobes, white supremacists, war mongers, religious fanatics, far right wing nationalists, big pharma, big oil, big tech, and the worst of all, the industrial military complex. I'm sure this list could easily go on for a mile...
What exactly can we do though?
We are outnumbered by arseholes, dickheads, traitors, conmen, grifters, misogynists, chauvinists, right-wing nutjobs, corrupt fuckers, evil billionaires, rapists, rape apologists, violent fucks, and other ills of human society.
And I'm only thinking about the men.
βPart of the strategy of this jihadist movement is to base its infrastructure of terror, letβs say missiles, long-range missiles, in civilian surroundings.β Israeli President Isaac Herzog told CNN when asked about the strike on a girlsβ elementary school in southern Iran that, according to Iranian media, has killed 165 people, most of them girls aged 7 to 12. He said he was βtrying to verifyβ the reports but did not provide further details. GeoConfirmed, an OSINT group that verifies footage through geolocation, says the destroyed school in Minab, Hormozgan Province, was located near an IRGC naval base that was also struck in the same wave of airstrikes. The group says there is no evidence the explosion was caused by a failed IRGC missile launch, and that the more plausible explanation, based on available evidence, is that the school was hit during the broader strikes on the base.
See new posts Conversation GeoConfirmed @GeoConfirmed GeoConfirmed Iran. Statement regarding our posts about the bombing of a girlsβ elementary school reportedly resulting in the deaths of over 100 girls. Because many readers still misunderstand our posts or how geolocation verification works, I will explain this as simply as possible. 1) The girlsβ school was located next to a military base and according to multiple sources even within the perimeter of that base. However, this does not make it a legitimate target under the Law of Armed Conflict, even if it was within the premises. The school was not in Pakistan or Afghanistan, as some claims suggest. (because the location is GeoConfirmed) The footage is not old. In Iran, schools are open Saturday through Thursday. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workweek_and_weekend).
Fact: The school, located in Minab, Hormozgan Province, Iran, was destroyed, based on the footage. Geolocation of the school bombing: https://x.com/GeoConfirmed/status/2027766830710804627 - 2) The claim that the explosion was caused by a failed IRGC missile launch has no supporting evidence, at this time (!). The widely circulated footage used to support this theory originates from a location approximately 1,300 km away from the school. It is impossible that a missile failure visible there caused the bombing at such a distance. At this moment, there is no proof that a failed missile launch caused the incident. (See below or https://x.com/GeoConfirmed/status/2027859937842393278) - Using logic.
Given the schoolβs position, next to and possibly integrated into a military facility, the more logical explanation is that the school was mistakenly targeted during an attack on the base. A thorough investigation is required to confirm this assessment, or additional verifiable evidence must emerge to support alternative claims. When conducting analyses, always consider the principle of "Occamβs Razor" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Occam%27s_razor): "When presented with competing hypotheses about the same prediction and both hypotheses have equal explanatory power, one should prefer the hypothesis that requires the fewest assumptions." In this case, the only βevidenceβ for the failed IRGC missile launch claim has been proven false. Therefore, there is currently no credible evidence supporting that theory. Reminder: OSINT, and reporting (journalism) in general, is based on the information available at the time an investigation is conducted. Therefore, analyses may change as new footage or evidence emerges.

Single frame. Trump at the podium of the chamber, with US flag behind. Heβs sitting on the bench, naked, a bowl of MAGA excrement between his legs, from which heβs hurling handfuls. Behind him, either side, JD Vance and Mike Johnson smiling and clapping. Title (bottom left) The State of the Union.

Fascinating.
It seems around the world, including among previously staunch US allies like Japan, the cracks exposed by the past decade continue to deepen.
Australia is the only country in this cohort that so far has actively attempted to ignore/hide them instead.

Two photos. The first shows Catturd tweeting: Name one US inspired regime change that hasn't ended in absolute disaster The next tweet shows him posting an AI illustration of Khamenei turned into a pile of dust. It says "I'm eliminated."
Two tweets. The first shows Laura Loomer promoting her show, where she says "A message has been sent that we are not interested in going back to the way politics were prior to Donald Trump, prior to 2016. We don't want warhawks. We don't want any more Neocons. We want American First. Period. End of discussion." The next tweet says: Today is a great day. Our military is amazing. @PeteHegseth is an absolute killer. Now you see why the Deep State worked so hard against him. Itβs great having a Sec War who has Infidel literally tattooed on his body. He actually gets it. God bless him.
Two tweets. The first shows Will Chamberlain tweeting: The Republican Party is no longer the party of regime change and endless wars. If you want to be its standard-bearer that is a non-negotiable position. The next tweet shows him posting "Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is dead." The tweet has a USA flag attached.
Two tweets. The first shows Gunther Eagleman tweeting: "Warmonger Lindsey Graham just rushed to Fox to advocate for U.S. involvement as soon as he could. He is also pushing for a US-backed regime change in Iran. I would like to renominate Graham to get a one-way ticket to the frontlines of every war he wants America involved in." There's an attached video of Graham speaking. The next shows Eagleman tweeting: UST IN! President Trump is HARD AT WORK all weekend after the massive strikes on Iran! Heβs already on the phone with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte! Trump is a machine!" There's an attached video of a news segment about the war in Iran.
