More experiments with breaking things… these aren’t final - just getting a process down. Next I will spend some time on the different walls, trying out moss, vines, etc. The floors come after that!

If I'm going to age the Temples of Terror set, I can't have all the urns looking pretty, so I'm experimenting with breaking some up!
This was part of an Inktober challenge inspired proof of concept. Do you think I should get back to this and make a full add-on for the Temples of Terror?
Around the Farm - because not all adventures take place in a dungeon! Shown here with the Stone Buildings modular paper terrain set. #dnd #dndterrain #ttrpg
I’m 100% biased, but paper minis are the perfect option for meatspace Draw Steel. The first encounter in Dark Heart uses 18 monsters! That’s so many guys! Good thing you can print out as many guys as you need!
The pendulum blades were never put in place to stop unwelcomed guests. The pit traps in between them, however...
As the party fled an invisible terror, the group's leader trips and falls, causing the group to pile up one on top of the other... Overhead, a gout of flame is triggered from the trap they landed on, engulfing their pursuer!
The search for a hidden exit became more and more frantic as the room became a haze and lungs started burning...
"There are no traps on the chest" the halfling cheerfully reported! As the party leader stepped over to lift the lid, a pressure plate sent spears out in all directions... "The chest was fine! You didn't ask about the floor! You're always saying I don't listen and follow directions..."
The group's rogue caught the faint click and, a breath later, was rolling away from the corner as the blades started whirring. The fighter only had time to look on in confusion...
If the five Temple Traps weren't enough, there's five more as part of the Dungeon Traps add-on! You can mix-and-match them! What kind of mayhem can you use these traps for?
What happens in the dungeon stays in the dungeon.
Some traps are not meant for adventurers... The sawblades were put in to protect whatever evil comes up through the tunnels below.
You've been hearing the squelching noises for a while now, and have somehow learned to ignore it. As you press on, however, it grows louder and louder until finally it feels as though the walls and floor bulge as they fail to contain some awful eldritch thing...
The first tripwire was easy to spot and easier to avoid. It was, however, just a distraction from the second wire. You feel your leg press into it. It doesn't break, but the damage has been done. Living vines, once bound safely in the walls, unfurl and entangle anyone nearby.
First you hear the click of the floor plate and the doors locking. Then you hear a distant hum accompanied by dust billowing from openings on the walls. As your vision blurs, you feel the first stings of the angry wasps...
The spinning blade traps can be staggered along a hallway, daring only the most dexterous adventurers to cross.
Tricks and traps around every turn in your Temples of Terror terrain with the Temple Traps add-on! Which trap is your favorite?
The Temples of Terror modular terrain kit, pictured here with some spicy li'l minis by @printableheroes.bsky.social. One way to handle dungeon exploration is to keep the dungeon areas off to the side, and add to the table as you go!

Roosters crowing and hens scratching for bugs. The simple life. I have to assume there’s nothing hiding in that coop over there… Minis by @okumarts.bsky.social! #paperminis #paperterrain #ttrpg #papercraft
