Looking forward to keep making nested gamescope better to use on a desktop session.

Did this before Christmas for my mom, she ended up buying the subscription for the new cameras which was optional because "more settings" 🀦

But hey at least the subscription (cheaper than the old one) is optional now so I guess it's a small win?

fix: remove gremlins from crh symlink by HikariKnight Β· Pull Request #3740 Β· ublue-os/bazzite An image says more than 1000 words

This is currently my favorite @bazzite.gg PR
github.com/ublue-os/baz...

What happened that required this symlink to be fixed?
A contributor edited the symlink using githubs text editor because github exposes symlinks as special text files, which then inserted illegal characters into the symlink.

I was told by a friend that I should try posting my comic pages here. Try one at a time, maybe out of order to see what happens. Here I am giving it a go. I have like 8 chapters. I dislike the lack of organization here for images. Here's a random page! #art #comic #cartoon #whimsical #fantasy

My comic is a passion/fun hobby I've been doing for awhile. It is all about anthropomorphic characters living on an island filled with supernatural whimsy. It is slice-of-life too. Can be found on Webtoons, Comicfury and DA. It is niche. If you like it, thanks, if you don't, that's ok too.

AMD GPU here and I don't have issues with guild wars 2.
The game is more CPU dependent and there are some maps that are super poorly optimized (amnytas for example)

A guide to addons for Guild Wars 2 on Linux Introduction So on windows, the majority of people use Blish HUD and love it (i do too!). However Blish HUD has some issues on Linux which makes it not so appealing to use. The good thing though ...

For those playing Guild Wars 2 on Linux, i have updated my guide for using addons in Guild Wars 2 on bazzite/linux, now you can get even more parity with BlishHud!

this controller keeps getting better and better, a firmware update for it (and steam update i believe) added full steam input support for it with gyro working!

M1 is the power button
M2 and M3 are the digital press of the analog sticks!

I love this!

Older platforms than switch will require cables that you need to get separately.
For wired xinput or to update the controller you just need a USB c cable.

I had issues flashing the wireless band firmware on Linux(which they say they want to avoid ever having to update)
Normal firmware update fine

The price is high but well worth it, it has open source firmware too, works NATIVELY on: NES, SNES, N64, GameCube (and any platform that supports the GameCube adapter), switch 1 and 2 and PC (xinput and steam input/dinput)

Only switch mode and steam input mode are wireless

GC Ultimate Controller Kit - Funded with Kickstarter Build your own GameCube-style controller with Hall-effect joysticks, HD haptics, gyro, RGB, and open-source firmware. GC Ultimate Kit by Hand Held Legend.

Quite a few people have asked me offline which controller this is.

It was one I backed on Kickstarter last year, as I wanted a good modern gc controller.
The project got funded and retail version is available at handheldlegend.com/products/gc-...

The controller comes as a build it yourself kit

finished modifying the controller to my liking.
replaced the triggers with OEM gamecube controller triggers, replaced the c stick so that it looks more correct for a gamecube controller (this however required stick calibration as the stick stem is thicker)

sadly the OEM z button was not compatible.

Can we please stop using grey (both light and dark) text on black/dark background as a dark theme?
I am so sick and tired hearing from my parent that they can't see what the text says.

Light theme is not a solution because that is too bright again for them...

Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Bootc gets better every day!

This is a proof of concept Arch Linux Bootc image, which also proves the door is open for distros like Debian to get bootc'd.

Credit to Bootc team for getting this working, and Tulip for implementing it in Arch Linux.

Screenshot of a program window named ArcDPS Manager
It has the text
"Update ArcDPS?" and shows 2 mismatching MD5 checksums, one being the checksum for the updated addon and the other being the checksum for the installed version.
Below the checksum comparison it has a checkbox "Manage ArcDPS on every launch" that is checked.
Below the checkbox are 3 buttons horizontally that reads as follows:
"Remove ArcDPS", "Update ArcDPS", "Launch GW2"

Software is made by people. Trashing software is trashing other people's work. It's fine to have negative opinions about a piece of software, but you can just not use it instead of trying to publicly shame it.

My new controller is almost perfect.
it is for sure my perfect switch, gamecube and n64 controller (it also has steam input and xinput support, however only steam input and switch input are wireless)

yes it has dual Z buttons (shoulder buttons) and it has dual action triggers! πŸ‘€
