Absolutely, it’s great to see Bungie’s still got it

Always knew you had good taste
Really thought I was gonna love the Thief shell the most and have my love for grapple hooks find a new home in Marathon after I stopped playing Apex, but fights this might actually be more fun
Imagine you're working on a game and you told your boss about multiple issues repeatedly only to be ignored and told to work on things that didn't matter but they cared about. Then when the game came out and bombed for all the reasons you foresaw, when your boss lays you off, he blames 'espionage'
Panthers lost, Sens lost (off a dumb penalty from their tool of a captain) and the Avs won - yes, things are looking pretty shit for the Buds, but I'll take my wins around the league where I can get them
This is just 'Game to Make Dog Owners Cry' coming to Nintendo Switch 2
The secretive company filling video game sites with gambling and AI

As for those hot takes, Sundberg pretty much nails it when calling out how "risk averse" the industry is, which is the generous version of the words Sundberg used wccftech.com/just-cause-s...
Alongside my preview of the game, I also got to speak with Liquid Swords studio founder Christofer Sundberg and the game's mission designer, Donald Young. They dug further into what they mean by "intensity over scale" and also shared some hot takes on the industry wccftech.com/samson-a-tyn...
I've had 90s action movies on the mind for the past week, but not because I've been watching a bunch of them, because last week I checked out Samson: A Tyndalston Story from Liquid Swords, a AA, "intensity over scale" 90s-era action game wccftech.com/samson-a-tyn...
Cool, but this is also right on time to try and distract people from the major studio closure that happened *checks notes* five days ago.
I also have to give a huge shout out to The Eternal Life of Goldman, which might just be one of the most beautifully animated games I've ever seen store.steampowered.com/app/2254950/...
Shifting away from platformers for a min, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is a game I've had my eye on a lot as I've covered a bit of news around it here and there, but I was really intrigued when playing it by the investigation and puzzle mechanics store.steampowered.com/app/2760560/...
Some games on my list that I want to give an extra shout-out to: You'll notice this is a platformer-heavy list (I love jumping, what can I say) and while not all of the platformers I played made the cut, Croak is probably my favourite out of what I played store.steampowered.com/app/2616540/...
As promised, my list of recommended Steam Next Fest demos is here! Thank you to all the PR peeps who sent me a demo to check out ahead of the fest; it really helped me get organized so I could have this list up asap. wccftech.com/steam-next-f...
Coming into this without any ZA/UM baggage beyond what PMG has taught me, I wouldn't be comparing this to Disco Elysium. I just wanted to see if it was telling a compelling story with interesting gameplay.
So far, the answer to that question is 'yes.' Now if only they could re-record a bunch of VO
The first Steam Next Fest of 2026 will kick off in a few hours, and while I'll have a list of demos to check out coming tomorrow, one game I got to play ahead of the festival is ZA/UM's Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. wccftech.com/zero-parades...
Well that was depressing. Hellybuck stole that win for them, we just couldn’t finish.
Love our guys so much, they were the better team all the way. 🇨🇦
You know, you should be a writer or something 😉
My solace is that they're tears of pride - can't imagine being disappointed in this team, they gave it everything they had
Alright, with the Women's tourny done, a PSA for my US friends: I have no prob with ya'll celebrating this win, the Women's teams have class players on both sides and I get you're rooting for your home country
But I will absolutely judge you for supporting the Tchukclefucks if we meet on Sunday
That's heartbreaking. So much love for the Canadian Women's team, they absolutely played their hearts out. MPP deserved to go out with gold
You are not going to make the next Fortnite or Overwatch or Destiny or Apex Legends. You are going to make the next game that is going to get crushed by Fortnite and Overwatch and Destiny and Apex Legends. The next footnote. You will waste hundreds of millions of dollars to be publicly humiliated.
Ofc, it's not just Hulst at fault here, this is partly on Jim Ryan's fucking idiotic live service push, but at least he had the sense to get lost
Has to be one of the worst mismanagement stories in the history of the video game industry. Hang em up Hulst, if you can't manage studios with talent like what Bluepoint has, you shouldn't be anywhere near the decision making
Confirmed: the Women's IIHF refs can count
Thinking about @cahndlerby.bsky.social, not how Sweden’s tournament should’ve ended!
I have full confidence you will! I watch Nylander make clutch plays all the time, I have a feeling he has some coming today
The best game of the tournament by far. Marner with an incredible goal, Binnington with some incredible saves, Czechia played so well that I truly believed for a moment that we were about to lose, but we pulled through - now onto the semi-finals
