Has Kier Starmer resigned yet?
DHS has a whole citizen detainment system set up in Minnesota. They snatch citizens off the street (often with proof they are citizens), detain them for a few hours, steal their phones, then release them into the cold.
It ain’t about deporting citizens; it’s about terrorizing a whole population.
You took an oath to uphold the law and defend the citizens without fear or favor, and to protect the innocent. That's all they put in. Maybe they thought those were the important things. Nothing in there about orders, even from me. You're an officer of the law, not a soldier of the government.
They aren’t backing down. They’re just threatening people in other cities. Still illegal. Still unconstitutional. Even if they haven’t yet backed it up by shooting someone in the face.
Hypocrisy and fascism - just as relevant now as when it was written in 2018. Hypocrisy is the point. There is no fairness. hac.bard.edu/amor-mundi/h...

And that's what he is, the King of Refuse. So bow down to him if you want, bow to him. Bow to the King of Slime, the King of Filth, the King of Putrescence. Boo. Boo. Rubbish. Filth. Slime. Muck. Boo. Boo. Boo.

Her vehicle's right front panel cleared the ICE agent who didn't open fire until after he was at the side of her vehicle. He used deadly force on a fleeing individual, which is against DHS policy. This is murder. He needs to be arrested.
Screenshot of a post on X by Matt McDermott (@mattm…) stating that ICE reportedly slashed officer training from five months to 47 days to flatter Trump’s ego as the 47th president. The post adds that recruits arrived without full vetting, including with criminal records, failed drug tests, and not meeting basic standards. Below is a link preview and excerpt from a Daily Beast article describing ICE training being reduced and framed as a tribute to President Trump.
They’re hiring goons, arming them to the teeth and unleashing them on our streets.
Cops are taught to avoid shooting into cars, for all the obvious reasons, but ICE has shot NINE people in cars since September. Great reporting from @nlanard.bsky.social www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
banning X is a national security issue for every country, plain and simple
its explicit goal is to amplify and empower the largest Nazi-adjacent party in every country in which it operates
it is also the largest deepfake porn generator in the world
this is not a difficult call to make
Walz: "I couldn't help but think, and it scares me a bit -- 'The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most important directive.' It certainly feels like that in this moment."
The Palestine hunger strikers have been on hunger strike for over 60 days and are close to death.
They have not even been convicted of a crime - they are being held on remand (pre-trial) for more than twice the max time allowed, and counting…🧵
AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.
Nice.

Anyone who calls protest un-British hasn't understood just how many changes have been achieved in British history because of protest.
The home secretary said 'un-British' because 'un-good' would have sounded too Orwellian.
TFW your digital ID scheme is so obviously shite that you can't get the world's leading purveyor of ubiquitous surveillance on board with it...
It is always acceptable to protest against genocide. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The petition to oppose ID cards has already topped a million and it's going up by around 1,000 every minute. petition.parliament.uk/petitions/73... - ID cards were an unpopular idea under Tony Blair's government and they are just as unpopular now.
It's good to see almost universal condemnation for the Digital ID card proposal.
All of the arguments from the last No2ID campaign are still valid. Immigrants and trans people are a lot more vulnerable now.
Imagine what ICE would do with an ID card database if they could get their hands on it.
News programs - when you interview someone - please keep their names on the screen the entire time so that when you hear something outrageous and glance at the screen there is an answer to the question "Who is this spouting this nonsense?"
The paracetamol/autism lie is straight out of 1984. They are so emboldened that they think they can confidently tell us that 2+2=5 and expect to be believed.
Now think of all of the other lies they tell us that aren't so blatant and put them in the same light. Trump, Netanyahu, Farage.
Buying board games and playing board games are two entirely separate hobbies.
There's a third arm to this which is kick-starting board games. It's not particularly rewarding and games appear unexpectedly at the times when you're least likely to get them to the table.

This is systematic and deliberate starvation. It's a calculated genocide. It's the systematic destruction of a population. It's genocide. It's genocide. It's genocide. Why did we say 'Never Again' and then allow this to happen?

A e-ink display showing power generated by solar panels, consumed from the grid and exported to the grid. Also shows totals of generation and consumption for today
Today's project was to re-program the e-ink display in the kitchen to show stats from Home Assistant instead of from the old RasPi monitor. The advantage is that it now displays the amount of energy being exported so that we can tell if it's a good time to put the dishwasher on or boil the kettle.
There is zero legal basis to make that pronouncement. None at all. There is no moral basis to say anything of the sort. This is utterly reprehensible.
