Art is fundamentally political. It is literally always an expression of something internal or external, no matter how much you actively think about it. The idea of making apolitical art is inherently ridiculous to me.
It's been a minute! But I've been chipping away at this model for the past couple weeks, and getting pretty close to the end of the sculpting/detailing stage

Hell yeah! I would generally keep to the amount of new cards WK suggests and pace yourself. I found it very easy to overestimate my own limits and burnout a few times.
I...I feel like when you aren't looking at your phone is maybe a pretty important time to recieve notifications? Like, granted, you might not want to be distracted by your phone constantly, but you're less likely to see the thing its notifying you of if you aren't looking at it...?
It's a great feeling when you start to actually recognise stuff outside of the learning environment. Hope the progress is coming along well!

Thank you! Beyond following some videos of experienced artists doing sculpts, looking at your work and lurking on your streams has been very helpful and aspirational for me to figure a lot of this stuff out.
I'm much happier with the transition between different forms this time. Plus, I'm trying to actually sculpt the hands and feet from scratch rather than using a base mesh as a starting point. I want to improve my anatomy and I won't do that by kitbashing base mesh pieces in lmao

I am someone who doesn't particularly enjoy seeing IRL nudes or risque photos. I will always vastly prefer sometimes seeing them to trying to tell an artist what they share or how. Insane levels of entitlement to be like "if you don't do [X], I will leave".
Then there's time which has some weird rules with readings... it's complicated! But you've got this!

Also, he does have a tail lmao, I just chose to share the one pic where it's completely hidden. Planning to do realtime fur on the character, so the tail is more a proxy to represent the tailbone.
