A lot of the historiography of obscenity is focused on the legal system. But what's fascinating is how much the private sector is leading the moral fight today. Processors are blocking payment, platforms initiate censorship, the "Free Market" has monopolized all commerce and maintains control.
So no, I don't believe pay pros/tech care about exploitation. Especially when they repeatedly profit off of it. This is about something else.
It's control of acceptable sexuality. It's an attack on independent work and ownership. It's power and control.

I need protest slogans to stop using "Fuck x." It is so tacky and tired. I'm not in high school anymore, I want a clear statement that I want something fixed. "Fuck Colonialism" isn't cutting it. Flattening all protest into one merchandised slogan is suffocating meaning.
