Today's abysmal jobs report is a reminder that tax cuts for corporations and the rich don’t create jobs or grow the economy.
What's required is investment in working people — and better wages.
When workers have money to spend, the economy grows and businesses create more jobs.
Remember this.

So how, exactly, have we let this happen?
First, we have normalized cruelty in the name of immigration enforcement. What was once unthinkable detaining infants and toddlers in prisonlike conditions far from family, lawyers and the public eye has become bureaucratic business as usual.

Any political party spreading lies about voter fraud as a pretext to make it harder for every one to vote is sending a clear message: they can't win on their ideas alone.

Does anyone get the feeling they unloaded ten shots to make sure Pretti could never live to tell the tale? Same with Renee Good. The first two shots were non-lethal. It was the third shot into her left temple from the side of the car that killed her, according to the autopsy.
