Like, i was working on a project in unreal and while they do provide a Linux download it doesn't work out of the box on nix because the shell scripts do `#!/bin/bash` instead of `#!/usr/bin/env bash`. If something actually uses environment variables instead of the default values things work.

For most things. But like, tbh something debian or fedora based is gonna be so much easier to a newcomer because they follow linux filesystem hierarchy and things are where apps designed for "linux" are going to be.
