It truly is. I pay almost $600 a month for the insurance company to refuse to pay for medication, anything that happens at the doctors, etc. At this point, it's only to help if something really dire happens and hospital costs get out of hand - and that's only after I shell out at least 8k first.

Medication costs, in America at least, are way too high. A $700+ deductible + a $2000+ copay (over $2800 a month), on a medication that takes at minimum 3 months to start showing signs of working. Hell no! Guess I will be rawdogging health issues until they either get better on their own or I die.
