New Hellraiser was great. Minor quibbles were I didn't love the bargaining element--they still came for Kirsty in the OG they just didn't like frank getting away. I think making swapping the leather for just skin misses the trick that clothes = more human = somehow scarier than just "monster"

Easily top 3 marvel for me, and I can't really choose within that ranking. But one of the more unique marvel stories and just beautiful. Amazing chemistry between the two, whose individual performances were fantastic even alone.

I knew some people in the industry at the time and yeah one of the contributing factors was glee needed the set/stage/warehouse whatever. It's was also pricier, had licensing and creative influence from Cameron, etc. but yeah Ryan Murphy killed the best terminator since judgement day

It's a very competent entry and I enjoyed it a lot and L Hamilton always delivers. They should take more risks with Terminator, like the Sarah Connor Chronicles which was heading somewhere very different when it got canceled so glee could use the studio space.

Not a critique of the need for these vaccines, just a quibble on how I've continually seen the science stated.

Calling EB a trigger makes no sense. A prerequisite sure, but 90-95% are infected. The global rate of MS is 0.00395%. if it's a trigger it's got a real failure rate in firing!

As a yank who only lived there for 5 years I'm guaranteed to get it wrong, and explaining the British class system accurately would probably take more characters than blue sky allows (but again, my understanding is still foreign even if more experienced than most US folk)

Defined media reveal the essential role of lipid scavenging in supporting cancer cell proliferation - PubMed Fetal bovine serum (FBS) is an undefined additive that is ubiquitous to mammalian cell culture media and whose functional contributions to promoting cell proliferation remain poorly understood. Efforts to replace serum supplementation in culture media have been hindered by an incomplete understandin …

Re: media. I've not tried this and the paper focuses on lines with driver mutants that therefore shouldn't need growth factors, but would love someone to show if hek293, cho, etc. perform well with this composition.

Upper class is like, lords and kings and Richard Branson, then it's middle class (Kate Middleton) then it's lower/working class (which catches most of everyone). It gets more complex though as it's not JUST economic signifiers but education and "class culture" that contribute as well.

Middle class in England has a very different connotation than the US. The people in Downton Abbey are "middle class."

I charitably interpret they meant sending a 5th grader to college wasn’t typical and not that they were so bad at their job they said what they actually said.

People prejudging the future adult while they are children are basically phrenologists but worse given the phrenologist might accept that the skull shape could change as they grow.

I am 100% with you on this but having lived in many US citie and three countries Boston has one of the worst pedestrian cultures I've experienced. People runs lights and intersections like crazy and there isn't much protected bike lane infrastructure even except in a few areas
