Amy has green boots and green trousers and is stood on a pavement. In the gutter and edge of the road next to the pavement is faded paint. It represents a "cycle lane" but obviously provides no protection from the dangers (motor vehicles) because paint isn't magic
Patch of Wild Primroses. They are have pale cream petals and a yellow centre.
When there's no early bus, no high quality cycle infrastructure, fragmented shared paths that stop too soon, and no car club, walking (to station for event) was the best option. On the plus side urban dawn chorus was lovely & lots to see including Wild Primrose in Fareham! #MyWildLife #ActiveTravel

Man, that's restraint! Admittedly still eat chocolate but only the higher quality stuff from small producers (or hope so!). Mainly dark (like 80-90% cocoa).
Am teetotal but mainly as don't like the taste so find it easy π

Homemade Potato wedges / chips (same thing right?) in an air fryer. The air fryer is glass with a crisper plate and the lid / heater has been removed. The food looks cooked and nicely golden as if it had been in a frying pan
Ooh, I did wonder π
Want some chips to go with that? π

Nice π guess the dust could be contributing? Or is the amount that's reached here not enough? Whatever it is, more god today - sigh.

Very good π That's him! Built a wall/dyke which ended Titchfield's port. Am told the saline influence can still be seen as far north as Posbrook. The tiny harbour at Hill Head is still mud, presumably once the mouth of the estuary. Also linked to 2nd oldest canal

Looking west along a coastal path. There is thick mist or fog on the seaward side reducing visibility. To the north, inland, visibility was fine. The path is tarmac and lined with benches. Beach is vegetated shingle. It is sunny
Thick mist or fog looking out towards the invisible Isle of Wight. Blue skies and sun above the low cloud. The tide is out
The Solent is shrouded in mist/fog this evening. Mainly a brisk walk but had hoped to trip over a Wheatear - soon π€ #LowCarbonBirding

Fareham has a 4 stage one on Stubbington Bypass because shared path suddenly shifts from one side of the road to the other π For extra worshiping I guess...

Only 7pm (BST) because we're forced to pretend everything is an hour later than it really is for half a year. We'd gain the extra time anyway without BST!

If our society was serious about controlling respiratory viruses, which they aren't beyond whatever political points they think can be won by pretending they are, they would promote vaccinations, clean indoor air & high quality masks. ALL of the available evidence points to that, but our society

Looking west over the Solent towards Calshot. The sun has just set to the lower sky is orangey pink with yellow above and then pale blue. The beach is almost silhouetted and the tide is out
....and sunset with time for a walk in the evening sun and dinner (cheating somewhat with Huel) outside before home time βΊοΈ
