I just found out that Alex Flounoy has passed away. He had announced that he had a rare form of brain cancer & sadly it has claimed his life. I’ve taken (online) a few of his classes & felt closer to him than any of the real teachers I’ve known. It’s such a shame that he’s gone.
Shhhh, don’t tell our current leaded. Actually Alex Flournoy posted on YouTube all 28 or so class lectures that he teaches at Colorado School of Mines complete with homework & answers. If anyone is interested, he is an excellent teacher.
I know everyone thinks their pets are smart but my Gray Kitty actually studies General Relativity.
From 5 years ago but even truer today.
