New oil versus same OEM oil with just 2600 miles on it. Good motivation for me to change early and often. Apple juice vs dark roast.

“It turned out, I had made a terrible mistake: I had remained friends with someone who had appeared on Kash Patel’s enemies list. How did Bongino find out about this private friendship? I honestly don’t know. … I faced a choice: get demoted or resign.”

Students created rainbow light boxes with laser cutting, #Pico boards, #Tinkercad, #Thonny, and @adafruit.com
Any #Wordpress veterans out there for advice? I have a "Contact" button that I can't edit to make an actual link...
Here are some of the first drafts of my fifth graders’ 3-D printed wrenches designed to extricate their assigned lag screws. #tinkercad #makered #3dprinting
This is a great question, but I just don’t think there’s such a thing as “planning” anymore. That was voted out.
Fifth grader created a D and D dice roller with #tinkercad and #3dprinting. #dungeonsanddragons
My fifth graders contributed to the school’s celebration of reading week by designing and 3-D printing bookmarks. #tinkercad #makered
Again , #strava, read the room.
I cannot afford the recommended upgrade at this time—particularly with the ongoing market volatility.
MS robotics elective students wired their @raspberrypiorg.bsky.social #Pico boards to motors today and began coding a button with Python to control them.
Hundreds in my small town…
Who did this?
My middle schoolers are about to learn about how distance sensors work, then wire one into their @raspberrypi.com #Pico and use #Thonny.
About to wire up the @raspberrypi.com Pico and use MicroPython and Thonny to flash an LED with my middle schoolers.
Thursday nights in Palm Springs are awesome. streets closed off, live music, produce and craft fair, free admission to the art museum including DJ. Fantastic.
I am so ashamed and so angry today. What a disgrace.
My wife and I cut the glass and did the soldering for these panes in a class a couple weekends ago.
Using Python Trinket with 8th graders lately:
The cognitive dissonance of getting up every morning and making coffee and walking the dog and going to meetings and answering emails and wondering what to make for dinner while there is a real live actual coup d’etat happening is BONKERS
This #tinkercad Codeblocks design illustrates the concept of functions. The red shape on the bottom is the function, and it's "called" to form the orange parts. #makered #coding #3dprinting
A successful crumple zone crash test from this AM. 7th graders iterate their #3dprinting #tinkercad designs that plug into the yellow car. More effective crumple zones make the impact board move less. #MakerEd #EDUsky #steam @ubermeisters.bsky.social
Thanks so much for this! I use Prusa also, so this should be very helpful.
Wow, that is such a neat idea! They are 7th graders using Chromebooks, so they don’t use the slicer. However, I could show them options to vote on and we could print 3 or something like that. Would you have a screenshot or two of how you select just a portion of a print and then remove the shell?
Haha. Yes Jesse did very well. I’ll post a video of the actual impacts. Great thing is that the kids with less successful designs can redesign and retest because 3d printing = rapid prototyping.
#3dprinting crumple zones created in #tinkercad by seventh graders. Analyzing slow motion videos. #makered
Eighth graders’ #3dprinting work coded in #tinkercad Codeblocks.
Game pieces in #tinkercad. #3dprinting
Seventh graders designed these crumple zones for 3-D printing to be plugged into a crash test car. Slow motion video will help us analyze their effectiveness. #makered
