I mean, you could say the same applies to FFX-2 where you change fits based on character roles.. but all the essential npcs have just one outfit that they live in lol

I think the only games in that genre I enjoyed were the Fire Emblem games way back in the day. The I discovered RTS games like C&C and Red Alerts and that ruined any turn-based strategy game for me xD

I mean, there is Legend of Kyrandia II: Hand of Fate where the main character changes outfits throughout the story, but everyone else is wearing the same clothes. It was the game that made me think about this. Why can't more games do that? It was a cute and nice touch.

I've been seriously looking for any game that has this and haven't found any. I doubt I'm the only one who had this idea. And I know how time consuming it would be to design, model and animate every single outfit.. but someone must have done it at some point..

And no.. The Sims doesn't count lol

is there any game where characters change clothes throughout the story? Especially when it comes to long RPG's that span months/years of in-game time.. Why are all the characters wearing the same clothes all day every day?
