A former employee at GB News tells me: “a lot of staff do not like the content that GB News spews”
They add: “We worked hard to have a career in the media and we have families to feed and we have bills to pay and when we lose our jobs it affects us massively”
There’s nothing innovative about right wing, dark money fuelled propaganda. Political interests are forbidden from holding broadcasting licence. RT have already done that and were dutifully shut down. It’s time GB News were met with the same fate.

It’s possible Ofcom may be regretting that statement and now reluctant to pursue matters on grounds of due impartiality
It’s unclear why Ofcom decided these four were not worthy of pursuit
